Hi! I have coming concerts in this venue. The tix seats I got is in the lawn area. Does it really a good spot to watch the concert? Does it really far from the stage? Whats your thoughts about being in front lawn? And its first come first serve to be in front lawn? I would appreciate your help for this. Thanks
Hi Marian! Good question. Yes, Lawn seats in the front row or first few rows are pretty good! We have enjoyed each concert. Sound is great, view is pretty good. Yes they are first come first serve. We like the front row since we don't like to be forced to stand and can site through most of the concert and stand when we want to. To get the front row - we get to the general parking right when it opens, then go directly to the main gate and get in line. There are two lines - general and Fast Pass for those that have season Lawnie Passes or those that are members of Coastal Carolina Credit Union (show your debit or credit card) (we joined just to get in early). They open the gate 30 mins early, but then you line up again at the steps. It gets crowded and we wait for another 30 mins or 1 hour. Then everyone runs up the stairs and down the hill claiming their spot. It is really hard to get the front row this year. But even in the second row - the concert is a great experience. The season Lawnie Pass is worth it as it costs about the same ($200) as it costs for 3-4 concerts on the lawn. This year they don't allow you to bring your own lawn chairs, so you must rent them for $10 or $100 with the season lawnie pass. You get the Lawn seats after getting through security before entering up the stair - so have a friend get the seats while one of you get in line by the stairs. That is the short version - if you have time, I have a longer explaination - hahaha :)
