Thanks Reevo! I try to make straight forward, detailed videos that will help the DIY mechanic to do it themselves. I've found that no matter how hard a project is, the hardest part is simply...where to start? After that, it's just concentrating on the next nut, bolt or connector. Could have just took off the two caliper bracket bolts to free the caliper from the rotor without having to undo the slide pins or compressing the piston since its a floating caliper. Also got grease on threads of the stud which will mess up your wheel torque.
Can this procedure be done on a newer escape? I have a 2018 model that I need to do this on but they don't sell lug studs it's just the entire hub that is sold and it is a crazy job to do.
Can anyone help me out I have a 04 Mercury mountaineer and a front wheel stud broke off can I change it without taking the wheel bearing assembly off I know there basically the same as an explorer
