How do I make this work with just the positive wire? I cant find the negative wire on my street lamp. It works for me, but only if the positive and negative terminals are connected to the mains. It doesnt work if only the positive wire is connected to the input terminal and mains.

If the current supply continues on then the cell is losing power?? and if power loss we need change or the cell will auto charge ....with use of current?????
