The musicianship on display here is second to none in black metal. Everything is perfectly executed. It's only been 6 months but this album is already a classic to me. Every time I come back to it it gets better.

I just listened to the first 4 songs on their new album, just released November 2023, and I had to come back to hear what attracted me to this band in the first place...and then I heard that first song again. Damn, just such a great album. I'll come back to this for years and years.

This is very good but have you heard Hegemon's Sidereus Nuncius?? Hegemon sit on the highest throne of black metal. Also Stortregn and Night Crowned made two of the best records ever this year, check those out brother.

Excellent album! I enjoyed every minute of it. Hungry seems like a perfect country for black metal to come from! One of things I love most about black metal is how there is amazing music coming from all over the world. The song writing and musicianship of these bands and solo performers, is leaps and bounds better than any other genre of music, and this album is evidence of that.

@@geompon6505 if you prefer less traditional black metal i recommend the album Battles Clarion by Averse Sefira. It came out in 2001 and its riffs and song structures are the reason I still listen to it all these years later. Cheers 🍻.

Uuuff, this album is great, the first track made me click like button faster than other bands. The drums are so good. The voice sounds like Tsjuder or Krypt, i like.
