When dabuz dash attack cancels he needs to move forward because Leo has been dogging the nair jumping backwards. So going for a down air moving forward or rar back air moving forward covers that.
Does anyone have tips and knowledge to on running tourneys? I need help . I’m on my 4th local tourney but I’d like to know how they do it here . The VG ones
1. Make sure you have a good rule set and stage list, evos rule set Is a good one in my opinion. 2. To get to this caliber you need to advertise, like Twitter, insta, or even RU-vid, and streaming the tourney could help. 3.Have good production, make sure the cameras are good, and the format as well, this video is a great example. 4. In this caliber good commentators are great, keitato d1, cony and ee are great examples. 5. If you are doing a big tourney make sure the venue is big and safe enough for the viewers and the players. @@moth5414 They nerfed Luma hard. Remember when it used to have ridiculous rage in Smash 4 and could kill at 8%? They nerfed rage in Ultimate and completely removed it from Luma but they added new characters like Joker, Terry, and now Sephoroth that reward you for losing. SMH. MKLeo happens to like characters that reward you for losing. Not calling him out or anything but I’m just saying he knows what he has to do to win. Dabuz used to use Rosa when she was Top tier in Smash 4.
@@opheliavalentine6058 PERIODT! I mean I get that she was busted in some aspects, but she can't really zone anymore due to Luma being so immobile now. She is kinda a rushdown character but she isn't even that good at it compared to others. Most of her strong moves have been nerfed so that they don't kill below 150% anymore. Her (Luma's) D-Air has that disgusting start up now, which would be completely fine, if it at least kept the strangh it used to have. Her U-Air has so much lag now, is slower and only kills at 120% while heroes like Palutena or Peach kill u at 80%. Her Nair is ok but Luma's N-Air is literally useless and is so fast and weak that it is never even noticed when u use it. Not to mention it took them 2 years to finally fix her F-Air hitbox that made players fall out if it 80% of the tine. This game and the character are both a hot mess. Edit: Not to mentio the sweet spot of Luma's U-Tilt doesn't even kill below 180% anymore lmao. And people still call it a "strong move" when it deals like 4% and never kills lol. Her Jab is also very laggy niw and you can't link it into N-Air or U-Air for pressure, not to mention it doesn't kill anymore except when at 120-130% at the ledge.
@@moth5414 It’s so sad it hurts and I think people are crazy when they say she’s high tier. Another thing that hurt her was the range nerfs to Luma’s jab. It’s ridiculous how they removed it because they wanted ultimate to be more rushdown but then they add Min Min, Byleth, Sephirith, and all these characters with extreme range. Why nerf Lumas jab range if you’ll add characters that have even more ridiculous range on their moves. You are right about up air and down air. I feel like I hardly can get kills with them while other characters can soak thier kill moves and get kills. Lumas up air also has less range since Luma is now closer to Rosa when tethered and I hate how sometimes Luma’s hitboxs overlaps with rosas instead of being in front of Rosas up air and it no longer scoops opponents in the air. They nerfed her so hard because of all the cry babies that complained about her in Smash 4. She wasn’t even easy to use in that game either
@@bud.e8890 Beating Rosalina is easy, but last match it was VERY close. I feel that he would have done much better befor the nerfs. Dunno, just my opinion!
Sharky McShank as bad as she may be, dabuz has been playing her since smash 4 and Rosalina and luma isn’t even that bad even though she is carried by luma
Rosalina still has some insane tools which you may be overlooking, her ledge trapping can be insane when the player knows how to use it and Dabuz was using lunar landings and dash attack canceled grabs on MkLeos shield which is great for stage control
She sucks compared to her Smash 4 version but she doesn’t actually suck that bad in ultimate. Rosa and luma have a lot of potential and their meta is barely being unlocked little by little.
Aizaia __ She still loses to joker even if both characters are evenly skilled. Joker just kind of goes through rosas neutral and her nair combos don’t work against him because he is so skinny and he can just throw out a quick aerial and hit her. But Chrom and Roy are the worst for her.
Flaco Ultimate Man I mis her jab from smash 4. It made Rosa a true defensive character and maybe then she would have at least done well against the top tiers in this game.
Rosa has been over nerfed. All hitboxes gutted. Nearly all killing potential removed. AND IT PISSES ME OFF SO MUCH THAT THEY EVEN PRAISE THE NEW NAIR. It's trash. Old Nair was way better and could even attack while blocking and could confirm into smash attacks up to 100%. AND IT COULD ACTUALLY KILL!
Because killing as Rosa is really really hard, since her Uair has a buggy hitbox that often times doesn't kill even when it is supposed to, and her down air has been nerfed with that disgusting delay making it basically useless. Almost none of her attacks in the air actually kill. And on the ground she doesn't have good kill options either. But Joker tho...

@@ConnorJFritzsch While is this is true for all characters, the situation and who you are facing is what defines a "relliable" kill option. Up against joker, what's relliable isn't the same. As a pacman, Isabelle, and rosalina player, I've found some truly creative ways to kill; so yes you are correct, this applies to Rosalina also: she has options. But these options narrow depending on who you're facing and how your opponent uses their character. So I must agree with @M_Styx that up against a joker, you are quite limited due to jokers speed and power unfortunately... These guys are both extraordinary players. ✊
He tends to prefer "annoying hit and run" characters like rosa and olimar who he has at least secondaried since brawl... as for not picking up snake it is probably just him doing what he knows
M_ Styx Nah, Dabuz has been getting a lot of good results with Rosa, now considering her better than Olimar (Yes, she’s good but I wouldn’t go that far though). Like he mentions several times on twitter and on stream that Rosa is supposedly better than Olimar. She has the kit and playstyle to beat or go even some high to top tiers and has consistent tech (When practiced) that leads to many high damage combos and kill confirms. Saying she sucks is kinda... debatable, let’s say that.
M_ Styx Also, her nair utility got a lot better in this game, her old nair was busted but due to the removal of jab cancels, having old nair with her ultimate kit wouldn’t be as good as her ultimate nair. She pretty much has a nair that’s safe on shield, leads to combos, main aerial used in Lunar jump shenanigans and kill confirms, so yeah...
