The VA's were perfect... Red sounded somewhat apathetic, not really caring what happened, while Gold/Blake's voice was absolutely *packed* with emotion, trying desperately to convince Red to care about their predicament, fighting to his cold, bitter end... I was on the verge of tears by the end of this... Keep up the great work, all of you! Break a leg out there, y'all! (It's a theater thing, used in place of good luck. There's a story behind it.)

Red seems like someone who has nothing else to fight for. He's "earned his title". He physically can't go any higher. He's hit the peak. He tries to convince Blake / Gold that he needs to face defeat and accept his fate, while gold still thinks theres hope and he can make it out. Gold tries hard to change Red's mind but fails. Good song sayo enjoy ur break!

Love how the lyrics reflect both Gold and Red's desire to win the fight over their own health. Red stubbornly gloats and bring attention to the fact they're killing themselves over this and that Gold can't win, and Gold is just desperate for Red to give up. And at the end, all that's left is one final, scared breath from Gold, before he meets his fate.

a really cool detail thats added is, at the end they each sing an additional line. golds line is about the sun shining bright, and red's line is about the moon weighing you down, showing how the two are parallel opposites. gold still sees a possible outcome in the worst of situations, yet red tells gold to stop the pointless fighting and succumb to death

Nico as a villain is something else. It feels so right and yet so wrong at the same time (not a criticism, I loved this) now who touched me thermostat-

Gold’s lines from 1:57-2:41 are… Heart wrenching. Not in a bad way, but as you listen, it’s like you can feel genuine fear in his voice. It’s like his instincts kicked in, like when you feel like you’re about to die, his body just surged with adrenaline, emotion, and pure fear and despair, and hearing that put into voice is just… mwah. Masterpiece, dude, that was amazing.

This was AMAZING! Bonoan did a really good job conveying the amount of pain and agony gold is in, and yeah it may not exactly sound the best in a singing format but I think it makes sense that Gold would be screaming his lungs out, I mean the guy is literally missing an arm and a eye and has lost pretty much all of his Pokémon, and the only one that is alive still is on the brink of death. Gold in this scenario has literally lost everything, yet he still tries to push through the pain. I mean if you were in the same amount of pain gold was in, would you be able to sing? Nico did really a great too! I like the way he makes red sound kind of emotionless, it makes it feel like red has already accepted his fate (I'm not sure if reds even alive during the song to be honest) I also think the way Nico portrayed red in his performance feels very much like how red acts in the actual game, A person who's pretty much accomplished everything in life and doesn't know what else is left for them, Nico did a really good job in encapsulating that. But hey that's just my opinion.
