Frostpunk 2 Beta | Accolades Trailer 

Most games have an accolade trailer after a game’s release to critical success…. Frostpunk receives accolades for the beginning of their entire game being released. Hope Rises, Discontent Falls.

UI is a little odd, but im guessing they just needed something functional for the beta. SUPER hyped for the full thing!

The only thing I'm disappointed about is that there is no voice acting for the citizens like there was in the gameplay reveal trailer. A lot of people were excited that the citizens had actual voices instead of just walls of text. Other than that this game looks like a slam dunk

My hope raised when i play the beta, but when i got the message which prompt how many days are left, my discontent was so high, i was ready to start a riot.

From the moment i understood the weakness of our city, it disgusted me. I crave the strength of the generator and the cold steel that surrounds it for our city, to stand tall and strong. One day the crude frostland you call "your city" will crumble and you will beg my kind to save you. But i am already saved. For the city has survived. Even in snow, i serve the machine god

for some reason this part looks more cartoonish than the first one.. immensely thrilled anyway

So far 11bit has delivered a relaxing survival city builder with a good amount of features recommended by the community. It would be really nice if the Endless mode beta could extended for a another two weeks.

I don't know where I should leave more feedback after the initial survey, but for now the most annoying thing is the demands of the factions or their chosen laws if I give them the ability to choose the laws. I mean, we don't have enough coal to heat ourselves but you demand for me to destroy the coal mine? How does that make any sense? Or when I vote on the first law ever, I negotiate with the other faction so we can pass it, I promise I will let them choose the next law... And from ALL EMPTY laws they decide to vote on reverting my previous decision. Like there are 100 other ways to get other beneficial things for the city that you want. Other than that the game is beautiful and the way the districts look is amazing. The tech tree with every faction suggesting different ideas is awesome as well. I just hope they tone down the "We demand to change what already exists" and substitute it with "We demand future research/building to be in line with what we want".

Now just imagine having to deal with all thoses factions while meeting problems in the main story that affects them.... now that is some chaos

I am really looking forward to 2's release later this year. I put in over 200 hours into 1 and I am looking forward to spending even more time in 2. I wonder what the 3 dlcs will be.

Beta is really good, as someone who enjoyed fp1 this is the exact style of sequel I was hoping for, especially since it was teased with the last dlc.

i can't wait until the full release, my only problem was the beta was too short and i needed more.

We survived the great storm, only to realize we gradually created a fierce hurricane within the city walls... But it must not fall, no matter how much sweat, tears, blood or flesh we paid for it!

Given how there were 3 non dlc stories in the last game, I believe the dlc’s could be really interesting stuff like 2 new stories, and maybe a empire of new or new new London type continuation.

Still waiting my computer to play in the Frostpunk and Frospunk 2 not on the RU-vid 😢

It's a very nice setting I wish there's more like popup chat box from random citizen that will be nice. Like I miss the dailies random Npc talking about the city hahaha

Looks promising, but I don't like how the UI looks. = snow + white UI is not a good combination = too much white. + those glowing lines, I don't like them, otherwise a very interesting game. the first game is one of my favorite games.

It is hard not having infinite resources from iron or coal deposit somewhere near the city. Got me in a pickle a bit during the beta.

I don't know if changing the whole game premise from the first game is a wise gamble, in perspective it is called Frostpunk 2, so an automatic conclusion is that it should have been Frostpunk, but better, but hey, we will see how it goes in launch.

I was expecting to be able to hear the citizens talk and mumble about like in the trailer, not a fan of the big wall of text of them complaining of something in semi hard to read/understand text, I do appreciate the effort to get to understand the citizens better but it can be implement better

I saw someone go 0 deaths, full upgraded evac in extreme diff in Fall of Winterholme in FP1 - which means it is still manageable FP2 faction relations make shit way harder to manage

"Soulless " - Me

UI/UX Rant: I really can't stand the amount of white color throughout the game now. In the first game there was obviously a lot of it in a game but everything else (like every new window that pops out) was in a dark mode so there was a nice balance. Now every window that pops out is white, this is outrageous. When it's 4 a.m. and I'm on my 10th hour in a game, the last thing I want is to be attacked with bright color 😤

I am sorry to write that this game did not turn out as I expected.

I'm just sad that the cold plays a little role in the game. It should still be the enemy, a thing that creeps up on you when you are too busy with politics
