Day one Hour 5 - Our leader is discontent that we are taking a break Day one Hour 5 - Our leader decides that only half of us deserve shelter and if we want better we should work through the night Day one Hour 7 - Our leader open declares he will only do the bare minimum required for us not to lynch him Day two Hour 4 - Our leader gave one of his child laborers the day off after he got hurt. Day two Hour 7 - Our leader regrets not feeding us sawdust. Day three Hour 1 - Our leader tears a child from his mothers arms and forces him to work in the wood salvage. Day five Hour 1 - I AM STARVING AND COLD HELP ME

Nothing better than watching Jon play games that require perception and morale challenges.

I know who im supporting as a post apocalypse leader: the person who immediately resorts to child labor!

I think a lot of people agree with this, please play more of this mate! It's a super interesting game with a gorgeous art style and concept.

Don't feel bad about the children Jon.. until you send them to work in the coal mine for 14 hours a day..

This seems like a video game version of the board game 'Dead of Winter' combined with a city builder.

Watching this with a bowl of warm soup and a mug of tea. I feel a bit guilty....

So, while he can do math he seems to have convinced himself that one hunter's hut providing food for (at the very lucky most) 52 people might just be enough. I guess he can always process those surplus survivors into iguana bits xD

I feel like this was influenced by Snow Piercer, with the generator being the thing that keeps everyone alive like how the Eternal engine keeping the train moving and warmed

Wow, I REALLY like the artwork. I'm gonna keep an eye on this game.

I really hope this game goes farther than the developers think. I really think this could be made into an awesome franchise. For example, I think a survival or survival horror game in this universe would be insanely awesome

You kind of have to get that beacon going to get more people, so you have people to put into more jobs - use the beacon to get the people to fill another hunter lodge and your food problems become far less of an issue (10 people there, up to 20 raw food, even on normal rations that's up to 30 rations spare after those 10 have had theirs).

You know what Jon, maybe if you had build roads at start you could've helped the people to gather the resources quickly and you also get already settle those for the outer buildings... Dunno if it could've helped but... Just an idea of mine ^^

OMG I just realised how cool a "this war of mine" combat game would be. Imagine it a ruined city fighting through it like Yugoslavia or or a former soviet state maybe an Easter egg where a the house is found with the people inside the achievement could be "war crimes" yeah I went there "moral choice" is still something I want.

This games pretty brutal, starts you over with very little and immediate hard choices.

I'm immediately sold. They should just open it up on Steam ASAP for at least a demo. Interesting and imaginative gameplay and production.

ya just got to add this. you should really build 2 hunters huts. it is clear 1 wont cut it for 80 people. even with the upgrade. as it seems you need at least 2 to 3 to supply a kitchen with enough food to gain a surplus of food.

This is when building snow caves would be warmer

God that’s a great band game

Using that strat you can build houses (not tents) on the 2nd ring, so you can keep the most vital facilities closest to the gen. Augment the oyher ring with boilers and gen power upgrades.

This game looks really cool! Great survival game. I especially like the Book of Laws options.

This War of Mine: AKA- No Matter WHAT you do 90% of your people will be dead after the ending. Seriously. No matter what I did they would kill themselves or give up and die in the end credits.

Cool title but i prefer this war of mine because it feels more personal you get to know the characters and help them survive.

No one I've seen playing this game views it from how one would do if the world was wrecked and you needed to do what it takes to survive... Seems that rather than build at a slow pace you rush rss by uping work hours then focus on what will sustain grow. For the 1st 10 days seems like that would 3 hungers to ensure you have a supply of food; 3 (or more) scouts tobring in rss boosta; 2 med cntrs to keep folks well; rushing the tech tree that will enable more stable rss production. If a few die from overwork that sac is ok as scouts bring in new ppl. But you cant view a strat for surviving cold when you are fed and comfy!
