Daaaaamn!!! This suuucks guys!! I wish you could do something about the ads that constantly pop up during your videos. I'm trying to binge and watch every video but there is just sooo many ads back to back that it gets frustrating! I get videos have ads. But within 5 minutes of a video, I've already went through 5 ads!!!!! There's something wrong here! And it's every dang video! Lol. I enjoy your videos so much, please please can you do something!? I've never seen so many on any other videos i watch ... I'm sorry. But thank you so much, if you even read this lol. ✌🏼❤️💯
7 minutes in and I'm already mad - why the hell would anyone choose to continue on a mountain when the weather is getting worse? For what? And then, when it's too late ohh NOW we'll turn back....no...it's too late. Your arrogance killed people.
You are right, why would people continue on a mountain in worsening weather? I don't do mountain hikes, so I'm just surmising. But, that mistake has been made a number of times. It seems some people, some who lack experience, fail to realize what the worsening weather can turn into.
A true leader knows Mother Nature well. When she allows them to proceed. When she waves her finger to say, Go no further! These leaders knew squat. Nada! Very sad @Mother n daughter-who followed their instincts (Over adrenaline). And, survived! R.i.p. 🙏
Obviously, it’s best to learn avalanche safety indoors, especially for young people. Why does anyone risk their life in dangerous weather conditions. Anyone wanting to go into the wilderness should be required to watch several videos like this.
If they only would have paid that extra money to have the local guide take them through the mountains, the Japanese Army crew would have probably survived.😢
You cannot "confidently" promise that "no harm" will come to a group when you're out in Mother Nature. I don't care how sure you are or how good you think you are...Mother Nature is better. You can be prepared for anything (and should be) but that's about all you can do.
I always went mountaineering alone. Roped together at the mercy of others decisions, moving at the speed of the slowest, weakest individual seems to be what causes most disasters. If you can’t make it alone don’t drag others down as well.
@@r.h.o. pros and cons. I never found anyone that would fit in with my wilderness camping type methods, and anyone else tended to distract from the enjoyment of the environment, but you may get a second chance in event of a mishap. Otherwise probably never seen again some places.
Yes there are lots of school successful adventures, but there are also enough disasters and student deaths. Parents need to access for themselves the level of danger their children could encounter on all outdoor school trips. Often, teachers, out of enthusiasm, underestimate potential dangers on the many children they supervise. To start, there should be more teacher participation i.e. a lower student : teacher ratio.
I grew up on Mt. Hood. It is an incredible place. People underestimate the mountain. It isn't the biggest, coldest, or most dangerous, but it can be just as mean and unforgiving. If you don't inow what you are doing up there, the consequences can be deadly. All the students should have known how to build their own shelters, period.
I remember watching a documentary about Joe Wilcox. He wasn’t really an experienced climber, and he was actually planning to climb alone, but he met another guy at Denali, and decided to join.
