Adele Aslan yah. Frozen story used to be unique and interesting as if Elsa is the only one has magical power in those time... they retconned the story for the sake of profit and demand from fans.
Not really I mean their parents always tried to suppress Elsa’s power which mean she began to fear them, also separating the sisters which caused severe mental tolls on both of them as they were isolated.
@@Allthingsasian in the deleted scenes, Elsa shows Anna an ice-statued scenario of their parents talking about how they were going to tell Anna about Elsa's parents when they come back from wherever they went (before they died at sea).
@@gachafyp6458 TBH I agree with most of what you said besides the last thing. I feel like Anna only ever wanted to find love because she was lonely. If their parents were alive, sure there might not be a Sven or Kristoff, but Anna probably would've married into a good family!
My guess is that it didn't work pacing-wise, like a lot of deleted scenes in movies tend to do. The story of the Northuldra and Arendelle is being told as a bedtime story, which works well with relatively brief flashbacks, so having an extended scene like this would've demanded a lengthier prologue section that wouldn't operate well within the framing. Then there's also the plot beat of the sisters discovering that their mother was Northuldra after facing the fire spirit, a reveal that would've been spoiled already by this scene. In short, there are legitimate reasons why this scene was likely excised, though I'm also disappointed that it wasn't included (same goes for some of the other deleted scenes).
@@Lovethehumans I know I'm probably wasting my time pointing out that Disney, with its well established reputation for being family friendly, would not want something like the death of Elsa's and Anna's parents hanging over their relationship with the Magical Spirits with who they have an intimate relation, which may be one of the reasons the screenwriters made a point of telling us that the Spirits were dormant at the time of Agnarr's and Idunna's ill-fated voyage by having Anna ask what was going on after everyone had been driven out of Arendelle and Elsa replying "I woke the Magical Spirits of the Enchanted Forest," but storms at sea big enough to capsize an unpowered ship that small have always been common.
0:41 this part for me was honestly SOOOOOOOOOO CUTE. It looks like it was love at first sight.😍😍😍 And did anyone see him poke his tongue out to Iduna once he tagged her 0:50 SOOOOOOOO FRICKEN ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!!! I could really see Anna's face when i looked at Iduna, especially at the end when the wind surrounds her
Would’ve been cool if this was in the finished/final product of the film. We get to see an in-depth look on Elsa and Anna’s parents. Mischievous, playful, energetic like normal teenagers having fun and falling in love.
I remember when the first trailer came out and people instantly shipped the girl with Elsa, even though she was clearly a child in this scene... and also turned out to be Elsa's mother
Yeah This scene is really great but I think that they thought that it would be too much mych about their parents story and it would be a little weird but i don't know they should've put this scene in the movie
@@ultimatemoonlight I wish they could've had atleast put it in the credits like before the fight happened. Quite obvious they didn't put it in the actual final product of the movie because it gave to much info on the mom and why Elsa was given her gifts.
probs cuz here she isn't bound by any royalty, she's outside almost everyday getting sun and stuff, but later when she becomes queen, most responsibilities and activities are done inside.
Elsa and Anna truly had the most tragic lives. Maybe to us it was just a child's movie, but think about it. Elsa practically spent her whole life behind a big door because she couldn't control her powers well enough. Then they're parents died in the most tragic way possible. Anna almost never got to see her sister in person until the day of coronation and when Elsa's powers were revealed in front of everyone, she was treated like a monster. Even in the 2nd movie, these sisters didn't really get much rest, even though the ending was good as ever.
My guess is that the trauma of seeing his father going over the cliff followed by that crack on the head caused Agnarr to block out his memory meeting Idunna in the Enchanted Forest. When she did tell him, he might have decided they should keep it secret since there may have been considerable anger towards her people.
Iduna only knew how to befriend the spirits not control their power. She loved Elsa and she was worried for her because she didnt know how to help Elda’s growing powers. Props to her for investigating/trying to understand Elsa’s powers (deleted scene: secret room) she also knew what is Ahtohallan so she and her husband went off to sail north. She never treated her like a freak, she was just concerned.
@@deirdretejam3659 I don't think you've read what I have originally said. Im saying that its silly for people to ship characters that are obviously already 'destined' to be together. Its okay to 'ship' when its two characters that are not together and there is no knowing if they will ever be together, but it doesn't really work when its common knowledge that they are or will be together.
@@dalekdrummer You can still ship a cannon relationship. Before its cannon you just want them together and when it does happen you support and love seeing them together and want more of them 🤷🏽♀️
Am I seeing what you guys are seeing? Iduna's hair changed colour in her youth. It was grey when she was a child, and changed to black when she became adult.
