To this day I am salty over the difference in the length of Anna’s hair compared to Elsa’s when it’s let down EVEN THOUGH their hair is the same length as a braid. Idk, I got issues y’all, might be rooted in my ocd. 😂
Well.. A little fun fact, in Japan (i think) changing your hair means you've gone through a major change in your life! I.e; going through something traumatic and coming out of the traumatic experience as a brand new person, for better or worse. Or, a break-up, maybe even the death of a loved one. I think that's what they were going for in the movie, and i just think that's really cool!
@@ivyyy_cs4580 isnshe still a queen. Isn't she a princess now that anna will become queen of arendel. Honestly i wanted her to remain a queen because it changes slightly from always being disney princesses.
Did anyone else realize that after Elsa had her hair in a braid for like 3 years, it’s perfectly straight when she takes it out? Even the ponytail is straight before it’s wet!
Honestly as someone who’s single and has everyone around her finding love, seeing a Disney Princess who is single and happily at that, who is finding herself and where she belongs and also finding that power within herself, not someone else, is really empowering for me. It might seem stupid for others but it’s not for me
That’s very true. It’s important to love yourself. Of course you need people to rely on and love too. You’d end up being lonely. You can be independent and still roll with your squad
I wasn’t the only one who cried with this movie when Anna thought she lost her sister for good right? 😅 even tho I knew Elsa was gonna come back soon, just in the moment where I felt for Anna when she lost the only family she had hit me lol
All I could think about was the heart breaking moment my mother told me my brother was dead. He had been 10, I was 12. I haven’t much cared for weeping willow trees ever since. (We were standing under one when she told me.)
@@imbadatdrawing7543 She got Frozen so she died for a while and so did Olaf. Then when Anna found out that she was in trouble she decided to help her, then Elsa was alive again. Then Elsa askes Anna if they wanna build a snowman and then that is how Olaf cam back to life!
Spoiler: I like how Elsa overcame the same sea that killed her parents And I also like how Anna recognises Lieutenant Mattias from the painting since she basically knows all the paintings from her childhood.
so true. and i feel for anna and elsa's father he was like elsa misunderstood. at least that what i got from this movie. him and the queen meant well and i guess the trolls weren't on shady side like the rumors said which i felt for while. the king and queen and the trolls did what they thought best at time for the girls. the girl's father had to live in fear and that what all him and queen knew for while. i have more warm feelings towards the king and queen. Well family drama has been a big thing since oh whatever time period and in fiction. Hans i cracked up what elsa did to the memory section of the movie to him. oh people on reviews also whining why no actual villain but i think even though only in memory i think the antagonist was anna and elsa's grandfather. Hans is evil but second rate evil.
@@jayen3250 no anna not antagonist anna is my favorite character i do not chose villains i said i think the memory shown of anna and elsa's grandfather king agnarr's father is sort of an antagonist. the girls grandfather he caused the rift between the northuldra and arendellian's i mean shows how he murdered the northuldran's leader
I love how the spirit calling or “her moms singing” is basically Elsa’s life calling/purpose, which was LITERALLY calling out to her... it lead her to what she was truly meant to be. it was a inner voice that mainly Elsa knew, a representation of an inner calling in physical form. I also love how the deeper she went for the truth, the colder it was.... literally, the Cold truth.
I know right? Like, damnit. They were separated for YEARS. and now back separated with heads up and telling urself "let's grow up" i know its not supposed to be this sad but it is still sad for me.. :(
I agree with everyone. I absolutely loved this movie as it was beautiful and just amazing, and yet so dark and sad at times. However, the part that I hate is that they are once again separated. :( That really pulls at the heartstrings and actually makes me feel anxious, as weird as that may be. I understand Elsa not wanting to be the queen anymore and passing the title onto Anna, but I don't like the separation part. I also didn't like how rushed the last moments were. I wish that there was a little more depth in the ending, especially with how things turned out. Anyway, sorry for rambling, but I'm just glad that I'm not the only one that's upset and crying over that.
@@frozen-marvel8301 Exactly. I felt anxious when Elsa chose to stay in the forest although this is where she should belong to. Frozen 3 will be coming out so.. I guess they will be together again. I also agree that the ending is too quick, there are so many big topics in this film. Well, FROZEN 3! Looking forward.
okay! but! at the end of the movie when anna said “bridges have two sides,” obviously she’s implying that her and elsa are those two sides. BUT it’s more than that; the bridge/the sisters represent the past present and future!! elsa goes deep in to the past to seek the truth, anna must decide the next right thing for the future of arendelle, and the dam represents the present, the driving force for these two to take action on their respective sides.
In the beginning of Frozen II, in the scene where we see young Elsa & Anna, Anna tells her sister they'll build a snowman after. She goes to bed later. Maybe she woke up afterwards and that is when the first movie began, when Anna got struck by Elsa's ice.
It is. Same goes to nemo 1 & 2, i think they had prepared a very long movie but split it into part 1 & 2..if you combine frozen 1 & 2 it'll be a long 3 hours movie
(SPOILER ALERT) Much more explained? Then...uh...why did the voice bring Elsa all the way there just to turn her into ice? She couldn't very well break the dam like that...
Carly Vlog I loved it! It was like the classic Hero’s Journey for Elsa, and it was so poetic when she went deeper into the river. It was fantastic! I only wished they didn’t rush some scenes, especially whatever was going on between Anna and Kristoff
your local ARMY although she seems a little clingy in this movie, for my she is still a great character and I love “The next right thing” the message is so powerful and I see some character development
@@FlicksAndTheCity i had to blot my eyes a few times i thought it was wonderful i have seen some negative reviews and like really why? oh the plot is mixed up like all over place not really i am slow at things in life may confuse lilttle ones but as i am in my 30's. past memories were found. elsa found why she had powers and oh getting to see more of their parents i thought in first frozen the king was kind of abusive after the accident but in reality it was because of both sides of people. i do wonder though did the girl's parents actually die. like the only question i kind of had i think a short film on that could be nice. fun fact anna is my fav but elsa is cool too and how her hair is let down that was pretty epic. i will def own this movie when comes to dvd.
lmaoo that had me cracking up tons.that's vital information i am so glad i saw that and on twitter while back josh gad sharing some research on turtles as he had gotten a lot of questions. ahh olaf learn something new every time. he's really a little bit of elsa and anna. him learning how to read and learning new information is well elsa's intelectual side he has anna's playfulness and innocence.
iiiOmq_Angelw That could be because it got wet while she was trying to cross the ocean and all. She undid the braid, pulled it into a ponytail and then let it all down by that point. Either way, she has awesome hair though...lol!
@Everything Cool I'm not making anything sexual out of it. I just think she looks prettier with her hair down just stating my opinion. I understand it's an animation.
Spoilers Warning!! Same here mate! Halfway through I realized that Elsa is the 5th spirit and kept thinking that she will sacrifice herself to calm the elements or something.....am quite relieve with what they went for in the movie.
I hate it when people keep complaining about “why Elsa didn’t have a GIRLFRIEND!!” Like... (??!!) you left every single amazing thing and breathtaking beauty in the movie and you want some romance?? Really?! I am glad they didn’t do it because it really nice to see a character that is _Truly free_ and different
Toothless stayed behind in The Hidden World. Steve Rogers stayed in the Quantum Realm to see Peggy Carter. Woody stayed with Bo to live the rest of his life as a lost toy. And now Elsa is staying in the Enchanted Forest as Anna is the new ruler of Arendelle.
Dude really don’t spoil films to others. I haven’t seen one of the film you mentioned but now I won’t bc of your spoiler. I hate when people comment recently films spoiler. So stupid things to do.
I loved this movie and here are my best parts: SPOILERS!!! 1. Olaf basically giving the whole summary of frozen 1 and then speed talking about their mission to the forest. 😂 2. Kristoff messing up the proposal and spen getting dispointed 😂 3. Knowing about their parents died 😪😫 4. Olaf fading away made me literally cry a bit 😭💔 5. Olaf: "that's totally normal"…😂😂 6. Elsa: "kristoff stop(talking)", kristoff: "that's a good idea" 😂😂😂 Many more..
Before seeing frozen 2 : Watching no frozen 2 videos After seeing frozen 2 : Watching all the frozen 2 videos I can find Like if u agree Edit : OMG 340 LIKES WAS THE MOST I EVER GOT TYSM
RedRoseSeptember22 who said the first frozen soundtrack was pathetic if you listen to it in 2019? (Not attacking but honestly was that what you were implying)
Since Elsa’s ability is thawed with love, it is strengthened with hate Inside the river, she experienced so much hate from witnessing the secrets of Arendel, that she literally froze herself with her power Elsa unfroze when Anna broke the dam because Elsa is one of the spirits, and the spirits are feeling restlessness by the dam standing. So when it broke, not only were all the spirits appeased, but Elsa was as well, and she thawed herself B a s i c a l l y
@@ventiisbestboy2110 Disney only makes movies that will make money. Since most of the princess sequels don't succeed, they don't make a third. But given the numbers Frozen 2 seems to be able to deliver, the chances of them pushing for a third - another well of revenue, especially if they add new characters that can sell more toys and merch - are pretty high tbh
That's not possible for any child from that family line to get powers since in the past, Elsa's mum saved her enemy (Elsa's dad) and so when she managed to escape the forest and have a child with him, nature's gift for doing something so good was Elsa's ice powers. It's only an extra gift and not a passable gene. I guess if Anna's children somehow end up doing the same thing in the enchanted forest then there is a chance but I dont think that it will happen
I think anna's transformation was realizing that she doesn't always have to be there for elsa, they're both adults and can protect themselves. It was seen when she thought elsa died and she didn't blame herself anymore towards the end. It was anna's turn to 'let it (her) go'.
I just thought about something: The fact Anna has 2 braids tells me that she has able to have a good relationship with others, and the fact Elsa has one braid shows that she is independent young woman who doesn't need a love interest....That's just what I took from it :/
To this day I am salty over the difference in the length of Anna’s hair compared to Elsa’s when it’s let down EVEN THOUGH their hair is the same length as a braid. Idk, I got issues y’all, might be rooted in my ocd. 😂
Roland Dawson saw this exact comment somewhere else but this comment itself is too good. I think their hair is loose more for maturity idk but it’s probably to show they’re alright and equal with everything now
@@rolanddawson3657 And you're wrong. Elsa's braid is clearly longer, it's past her chest till her waist line, only on some shots it looks a bit shorter. Plus Elsa's hair is braided from the back so when she put it on the front, it will obviously look shorter than what it actually is, I mean compared to when it hangs in the back (I know because it's the same for me). But if you look at her hair in Into the Unknown, when she throw her braid, in her back it's long till her hips. And when her is hair is in a ponytail, it's even more obvious that it's long. While Anna's breads go straight to the front and stop right under her chest. So it's way shorter.
@@verntweld51 its not self hatred More so how you'd feel if you looked back at your embarrassing moments or when an artist looks back at their old art or a singer listen to their old songs You feel the cringe of how bad or low quality it is XD
No, in the premier thing where the director introduced the movie, he talked about ‘into the unknown ‘ and that he ‘apologizes’ that you will be singing ‘into the unknowwwnnn’ like in let it go. Also, into the unknown has that same start as ‘do u wanna build a showman’ from frozen one. None if the other songs have smth like that (except when Elsa cringes at herself singing let it go, but that doesn’t really count). Although do u wanna build a snowman isn’t the main song, it’s referenced in frozen 2 as well at the end when Elsa asks anna do I wanna build a snowman to get Olaf bk.
I was too!! When they found the ship and mentioned why is it in a different spot, I thought maybe they weren't really dead and the person singing was the mom fir done reason
What ??? They didn't.... I haven't seen the movie ... but with the trailers and teasers, I thought they would have... and I though that the sound Elsa heard, would be from them calling out to her, from below the ocean. .
This explanation makes me appreciate the movie even more. The connection that Anna and Elsa have is astounding. I did not think it was possible to deepen their bond, but they definitely did in the sequel. Frozen is forever one of my favorite movies primarily because of that 💙❄️💙❄️
While she was singing ‘Into the Unknown’ there’s a line there that says something like deep inside I’m not where I’m meant to be, I knew that she will be detached from Arendelle. Well, at least almost coz it turned out she was the fifth spirit and that she remained in the Enchanted forest but still visits Arendelle. And also, that is the reason she cannot have a romantic partner. Lol
Elsa’s character arc is the best part of this movie, but for me it felt like I was watching Frozen 3 as it appears her character’s story is now finished and it can’t go anywhere else.
@@TherealDanielleNelson it came about due to a little easter egg during the first movie, in the scene where Anna rushes out of the gates you can see Rapunzel for a brief second.
To me, it sounds as though Elsa's character is a lot like Aang (from Avatar:The Last Airbender) - even when dealing with the 4 Elements : Water, Fire, Air and Earth.
@Becca Yea! I was expecting only her mother though. But seeing her parents in their final moment was indeed very dark, as if some of the old folklore. My heart did wrench a little on that scene, imaging their daughters seeing that.....great job Disney
ye when i saw it i thought "did disney just say "FUCK YOU" to the fan theories we had about tangled, little mermaid and tarzan being connected through frozen.
@@randomcommenter2504 true true. but then this means that they werent going the direction to repunzels castle....you see my concern here, it was revealed that they were going to that place in the song, and not to repunzel's wedding....even tho they showed up in the first movie.......im blabbing now sorry
I love the moment in the movie when Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, and Sven were playing charades, and Anna was acting out a villain, and someone guesses Hans, and Anna signals they are getting closer, so Elsa guesses "demon" and Kristoff guesses "the biggest mistake of your life" and then Olaf guesses "Mr. I-won't-kiss-you" (or something like that). XD
i don't know why so many people are confused with the final act including ending of this movie. i figured it out while watching and watching this video i can see i was surely right since can leave spoilers here i must say anna has a a way with people and has shown leadership skills even in first movie. i like the ending isn't sad and can i say i call out for a frozen 3 or maybe a featurette like length or around it of Olaf's Frozen adventure. i want to see more of anna and elsa living their new roles in life. i also need an ending transformation anna doll hope they release newer toys soon.if they do i can see why not released earlier they wanted to keep things secret.
PoxyBear True but I'm sacred they might make 3 in some dvd directly sequel quality if they do this that's why a TV show is more safer for stuff like this.
@@rwkc3004 If they didn't do it with Frozen 2 they won't do it for a Frozen 3. This is Disney's unexpected massive cash cow. They have made serious investments in it. It will never be treated as second rate or go back to the old Disney sequel days especially with Jennifer Lee the co-Director now running Disney Animation Studios.
Love your interpretation on Elsa's freezing moment at the river. And I definitely agree with you on the fact that Anna is more suited for the human side of the world hence the best for ruling Arendelle and Elsa the spirit nature side hence residing and protecting the Enchanted Forest. I always felt something was unsettling sad with Elsa, like she really doesnt belong to Arendelle or something ever since the first movie, probably because of her much fair complexion that seems off with Arendelle colourful atmosphere
It's not that she doesn't belong in Arendelle. It's just that everyone doesn't have powers like hers. She feels left out. Which is understandable. No matter how much you tried to fit in, there will always be a part of you that wants to be somewhere else. Somewhere that you can finally be who you want with people that understand. I think it's great that she's staying at the forest. She can see her true potential and I also think that Anna's being the new Queen is much better. I never seen Elsa as someone that can rule the kingdom. She's a free spirit. Someone that needs to be free.
Loved this movie. Credit to writers for expanding on the lore and creating some really cool sequences. My one complaint: I do not understand why Elsa ended up stopping the tidal wave from destroying Arendale, other than to show off her new powers. Earlier in the film, Anna specifically talked about needing to break the dam and let Arendale be wiped out in order to "right the wrongs" of its past. They made a big deal about how the element spirits purposefully drove the people into the cliffs, so that they would survive the eventual flooding of the city.
