A walk around the frozen village of Braemar in Deeside, Aberdeenshire, North East Scotland, after Storm Arwen in November 2021. The storm brought heavy snowfall and freezing conditions to Braemar, situated high up in the Cairngorms National Park, on Friday 26th November 2021. This film, taken on the 27th, shows the overnight snowfall and freezing conditions, plus damage to trees caused by storm Arwen. The storm damaged power lines and left much of North East Scotland without power for several days.
Views start by the Invercauld Hotel and go past local businesses, The Fife Arms, Hazelnut Patisserie and the Braemar Gathering and Highland Games Centre. The music is a composition called "The Beauty of Cromar Before me" composed and played by Paul Anderson from Tarland.
