Everything he does is learned experiences. He knows to wipe the juice off constantly because if he doesn’t at the end of day the juices will get everywhere. He also knows to cut the discarded pieces so that the trash bag will have more room. And most importantly he’s got a nice eye catching presentation of his fruits. He knows that what looks good will sell good lol.
@@MISTERALPHAX Judging by people's clothing it's not winter in that video. Winter in Korea is almost always near or below freezing. ❄ And watermelons are mostly produced in the warmer months.
@@matthewburris769 Only because China and Korea are very different places. Not all Asian markets are the same. I've been to countless Korean markets and they're all super clean.
@@Amoeba_Podre Washed hands are cleaner than contaminated gloves. Before the whole virus thing, I would see cashiers with gloves on. They were probably doing food prep and cashiering. Gloves are only as clean as what they've touched.
I think someone forgot to establish not everyone calls it the same thing so ofc there’s gonna be some disagreement Like many places say serviette but we say napkin, however napkin can mean something totally different to them
Well you gotta give him for his cleanliness. Just take a look at his skills and the way he clean the board after every cut and his gloves changing it everytime he finishes one fruit
@@brandonxia4561 If it goes to compost it breaks down faster. Or it could be to fit more in the trash. Theres a reason why things are being done the way it is.
@@vooshmoozik6185 there is no hygenic methodology here. He touches with the non gloved hand as well. The gloved hand touches all the surfaces the bare hand does. He can probably ditch the gloves and get by with washing his hands properly before the process. And also clean all the equipment once after everything is done. This is just overkill, probably for the camera or he has OCD
Actually a lot of cross contammination is happening here looks clean but isn't he does try. Let's say there's germs on the outside of the honeydew well he just dragged his entire knife through that skin and then the flesh of the fruit.
Yes very clean indeed. This is why I like going places that you can see the cooks make that food. They are more likely to be cleaner since you can see them make your food
Maybe ive been in isolation too long, but all I can think about is "Why didn't he cut up the pineapple skin". For real. Its going to keep me up tonight.
I was so impressed by the level of hygeine he maintains when he literally changed his gloves after removing the outer layer of the watermelon before touching the edible portion
@@isaganilawig3633 BUT if he didn't do it behind the camera he wouldn't have all the correct hygienic equipment and would probably be commenting on a lot of hygiene mistakes. Stop thinking that people only do this in front of the camera. YES THERE ARE HYGIENIC PEOPLE IN THEIR WORKPLACES.
I wish America was like this. He's so clean, with the cuts and his station. He uses as much of the fruit as he can and doesn't waste it. Not to mention he makes sure the cups are actually proper full before setting them out to be sold. .... Day 25 of quarantine and I'm analyzing a video of a man cutting fruit.
Legendary Ehh does that mean we should eat a dozen more and it’s no big deal 😂😂 Ok sorry, But I know that and also that our body contains thousands of bacterias, the good ones which are required by our body in some or the other process however we are liberal enough that we should keep and maintain a proper hygiene so that we don’t fall a pray of any sorta contagious disease lacking hygiene..
Not only is he an expert at cutting fruit, but also an expert at cleanliness. It is so satisfying watching him slice the fruit and clean his work station! Bravo my friend! 🤤👏🏻 🙌🏻 👍🏻
@@NathTheThaniel Unfortunately this is incorrect. すごい have more meanings than simply amazing. In this context it means very. The phrase is すごい(very) 無駄がない(efficient, no excess).
@@umarudoma8343 he changed gloves after cutting off the outside/green, before starting on the inside. The outside/green has been in contact with dirt, unwashed hands, the environment - its unclean. The inside/red is what we eat, so we want to avoid contaminating it by letting it come into contact with stuff that's unclean. And when his gloves comes into contact with the outside, they will get contaminated. He also washed the outside, and while that helps, it's not always enough - so you need to take extra precautions just in case.
_Fruit Cutting Skills : Good_ *Neatness Skills : Insane* _Looks like tissue paper industry and plastic gloves industry are only flourishing in Korea because of such fruit carts_ 😄😄
Knife is not sharp at all dude, it’s actually kind of dull, it bounces off the watermelon skin a couple of times. It’s nice and big though so the weight helps it cut
The plastic gloves u can find it easily in any market. They come like 50~100 units if i remember well. Also they are cheap so every house im sure they have like 3~5pack of this gloves
almost 1 in the morning: me-- man I should really go to sleep.. youtube-- would you like to watch someone cut fruit for 14 minutes and 43 seconds ? me-- hell yes you already know it-
In Korea there are separate garbage bags for everything, one is wet waste, like fruit peels and pits, one is metal, one paper, and i think one is for greasy fat things like meat cut offs. Cant compost those cuz they draw vermin. The wet garbage goes into a compost pile.
Idk how that's clean when he uses the same tissue he used to wipe the counter off then procees to wiped the knife off unless those are some special tissues or wipes
In 1776, Adam Smith observed Division of labor is the greatest thing for productivity. And 200 some years later, here we are, with professional fruit cutters.
Haha..here comes a question..will you purposely go and buy it and cut it lol..he is targeting people on night mart and lazy people like me..if you cant eat a whole no point too..
