The believer has been saved on the basis of faith in Christ alone and as such is encouraged throughout scripture to live in the same manner, by faith (Colossians 2:6), in the Holy Spirit's power to equip them for good deeds that glorify God (Ephesians 2:10).

Well said Pastor, this is just the very reason Jesus came to the earth, to make us children of God!. Jesus was led by the Spirit, we need to be lead by the Spirit, as the Bible says " we must walk as Jesus walked"!. Jesus said "if you remain in me and l in you! you will bear much fruit"! Jesus also said you will know them buy their fruit"! Don't forget the real truth of sin " He who sins is a slave of sin"! Mark my words if you practice sinning your not going to be happy, but miserable! Who ever wants to follow me, Jesus said, must take up their cross"! die to your flesh and walk in the spirit and have real life!

I hope your not saying a repent to be saved because that won’t save it only is profitable if your saved already to be saved you need to trust in the blood of Jesus Christ.

Im learning that we must put our full faith in God.. Its natural to wanna feed the flesh, but the truth is, we should want to enter haven, Lord Jesus is real & he loves us he really do... Me personally i don't wanna sin no more... Good please bless us all.. Choose Jesus because he will give you eternal Life!

Cultivate intimacy with the Holy Spirit. Spend whatever amount of time per day for however long and pray or read scripture. Thst's what helped me with my anger. It works!!!

The warning is clear that if we walk habitually in the works of the flesh we will go to hell!! Why else did Jesus talk about the good and bad tree saying that the one that doesn’t produce fruit will be thrown into the fire!!

Jason Lohse Hello! We would love to discuss this with you. What verse(s) are you referring to? The Bible is clear that all sin leads to death (separation from God) however Jesus gives ETERNAL life to all those who believe in Him as Messiah. Continued sin leads to falling out of fellowship with Christ, not losing salvation. Otherwise, how could we ever have assurance of salvation? Yes, it’s “very easy” or “too easy” to gain eternal life but Christ made it that way because we’re ALL fallen. If it were based on our faithfulness, Christ’s acts were meaningless.

Stillwater Bible Church the reference in 5:21 when Paul makes it clear that those who practice such things habitually “works of the flesh will not inherit the kingdom of God! Jesus also warned that as He is the vine and we would agree only abiding in Him can bring forth fruit. But he says that those don’t bear fruit will be thrown into the fire! I don’t at all believe in a works salvation nor do I believe in a works based sanctification ie the works coming from our own self effort. I believe in gal 3:1-3 he was clear that the same way we are saved is the same way that we are sanctified apart from law or any works of our own hand. But I conclude if one is truly understanding of there compete and utter inability as a human to please God with any righteousness of there own and is truly depending on the finished work of Christ that the Holy Spirit is the one operating in our life and it is impossible for Him not to produce fruit in us. So we can judge by fruit but not self righteously as if my fruit is borne of my human will but only through faith abiding in Christ. But the way and path is narrow so the majority have become lukewarm and if Jesus is on the outside knocking on the door of the church then we need to preach strongly to awaken those who sleep and not give false hope!

These are common arguments but they also contradict the scripture. If a few scriptures seem to contradict, that’s an opportunity to reveal something deeper since Scripture is inspired by God and therefore perfect. Wanted your opinion: If "inheriting the Kingdom of God" is not a reference to salvation, then why does Paul say here "do" [prasso - Greek] to practice repeatedly, habitually, continue in. And in I Corinthians 6 that these will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Is he skipping the thought or possibility of salvation and just saying they won't inherit reward, but will still be in heaven? Or is he insinuating both loss of reward and no salvation? To me, it reads that these who practice these sins, who do not repent and place their trust in Christ, they will not go to heaven. It's not that they just miss rewards. 1 Corinthians 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 1 Corinthians 6:10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. According to Matthew 7:21-23 KJV not everyone who calls on the Lord shall enter the kingdom of heaven. Those who do the will of the Father will enter. Those who have cast out demons in his name, done wonders and prophesied in his name will go to hell. This will lead us to John 14:21 KJV which says... Those who love Jesus will keep his commandments. He who loves him will be loved by the Father and he would love them and manifest himself to him. Some people Jesus never knew. If you want Jesus to know you read the red print in the bible and be sure to do what he said. Then he will know you love him.

Pastor Bond again a wonderful sermon, but still something is bordering me. You said you cannot loose your salvation, but Jesus said to the Church of Sardis in Revelation 3:5 I will not blot his name out of the book of life. And in Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast out into the lake of fire! So apparently your name can be blot out of the book of life and you can end up in the lake of fire 🔥. Did I missed something Sir?

WE KNOW THAT SALVATION IS A GIFT BY FAITH ALONE IN CHRIST ALONE AND ALL WHO BELIEVE RECEIVE ETERNAL LIFE ETERNAL. LIFE CANNOT END. SO WHEN ONE BELIEVES THEY ARE SAVED FOREVER. UNBELIEVERS ARE NOT IN THE BOOK OF LIFE SO IN REV 20 THEY HAVE NOT BELIEVED AND ARE NOT IN THE BOOK SO THEY ARE CAST INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE. IN REV 3:5 JOHN IS WRITING TO THE CHURCHES AND IS USING A FIGURE OF SPEECH WHICH IS CALLE A LITOTES. IT IS THE WAY OF MAKING SOMETHING POSITIVE BY NEGATING THE OPPOSITE. IN HEBREWS THE WRITER SAYS GOD IS NOT UNJUST TO FORGET YOU WORK OF LOVE IT IS ASSUMED THAT THE READER KNOW GOD IS NEVER UNJUST OR FORGETFUL. IN REV 3 JOHN IS USE THIS FIGURE OF SPEECH TO LET THEM KNOW THEY WILL NOT BE CAST OUT BECAUSE THEY KNOW IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR THEM TO BE CAST OUT. I HOPE THIS HELPS. IT IS A DIFFICULT SAYING. I found this text which was interesting: We have all seen our friends and family turn toward things of religion. They desire to visit a worship service, and may serve in some charitable function. Perhaps they sign up for a bible study or small group. Perhaps they have a religious experience where they felt the presence of God, and attest to it. Or perhaps they evangelize others. In seeing this, we get excited that they have embraced the faith passed down from the saints. We celebrate that they may have turned a corner. But then they stop coming to worship. They turn away, abruptly or gradually, and they seem inoculated to the truth of God. They heard it, “tried it,” and realized it is not for them. The truth is that the wheat and weeds grow up together in the outward visible church and many times cannot be distinguished by the eyes of men. Only God knows those who are His. People who fall away and are not restored were never Christians at all. This passage speaks of a person who heard the Gospel and learned the great truths of God, but eventually the seed planted never took root. In fact, when you speak to the person who fell away, you get the sense that a hardening of the person’s heart took place in the process. God was gracious enough to allow them to experience Him even though they never truly believed. This last one of Phillippians 2:12 brought me to this site: mediumdotcom (dot is ".") under the section, What does it mean to “Work out your own salvation, with fear and trembling”? This part was the most beautiful out of that section: This precious salvation we have received as a gift from God is on the inside of us. However, a lost and dying world is waiting to see it manifest on the outside, so this life-changing love of God touches them through our lives and characters. It can seem scary to love and forgive as Jesus loved and forgave us; it may also be a cause for some trepidation. Nevertheless, in time, as you yield to the salvation you have received, that fear and trepidation will diminish. Keeping yourself in the love of God will become natural to you. When Paul told believers to work out their salvation with fear and trembling, he understood perfectly the challenge a new believer would experience. Initially, trusting the work of Christ to change your character and lifestyle without your own efforts can be daunting. It is a challenge to believe you can change without a self-help or sin management program. Notice that Paul emphasises this point in the very next verse. “For it is God which worketh IN YOU both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” Philippians 2:13 *SO FINAL CONCLUSION: WE CANNOT LOSE OUR SALVATION, BUT ON THE OTHER HAND YOU CANNOT LOSE WHAT YOU NOT HAVE RECEIVED FROM THE BEGINNING* . *SO WE MUST EXAMINE OURSELVES WHETHER WE ARE IN THE FAITH. He is preaching another gospel. He just split those who are born again into those who are of flesh even if they don't overcome temptations or sinning. This is not in scriptures what he is talking about at 7 minutes to 8. I had to stop and going back to my channel to delete this post. It's a different gospel and you wont fint this in scriptures

Maryna Viljoen Romans chapter 7 deals with this. As believers, we still have the sinful flesh but we also have the ability to withstand sin because we have the Holy Spirit within is.

Interesting statement you're making. I thrive on the subject meaning of 'salvation' in this respect, which the speakers connects to entering the kingdom of God. It would suggest a mere feeling of the existence of God and his presence but not acting upon it. The inheritance are the heirs of the kingdom of God who do put faith to practice, whic is a long and complex process I believe. But please tell me for who is hell meant other than for those unrepenting of dark deeds of the flesh...I could not have an answer on that one in this context. Albeit I loosen the word of galatians 5:22-23, 1 john 3:10, 2 corinthians 6:14-15, matthew 6:24 for my life and the body of Christ, while I and the body of Christ will not be unequally yoked with and have any common share with any evildoer serving satan, binding oneself and myself freed of all unkindness. I like most of what he declares but where is scripture does it state there is a divided Kingdoms, one for those who overcame the flesh and another for those who don't? Jesus said if you are one of mine you will follow my commands. The first sermon preached by Christ was to call people to repent in Mathew 4:17 and in Mark 6:12 Christ commands his apostles to go out and preach repent. Only in the gospel of John is there no mention of repent but in the book of Acts the great commission is given to out and preach the gospel of repent and believe. To imply that I can go and commit sexual immorality with another person ( the body is the temple of God ) and still be saved is not in keeping with the gospel of Christ.

pianowindz1 JOHN 3:16 TELLS US THAT WHEN A PERSON TRUSTS IN JESUS CHRIST THEY ARE GIVEN ETERNAL LIFE. ETERNAL LIFE IS AN ETERNAL RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS. IT IS FOREVER. WE TRUST JESUS TO GIVE US ETERNAL LIFE. ETERNAL LIFE CANNOT END SINCE IT IS ETERNAL. ALL WHO TRUST JESUS ARE SAVED FOREVER IN JESUS 1 JOHN 5:13 STATES THAT WE CAN KNOW THAT WE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE WHEN WE BELIEVE. Having at one time accepted Christ then, some time later someone makes the conscious decision to - not continue to follow Jesus. This person, has used their God given free will, and rejected Christ, and rejected salvation.Why else are we told to "run the race", "guard our hearts"?

I disagree. The "once saved always saved doctrine" is dangerous, and wrong. God will not remove your salvation, but you sure can reject it. Rom 11:17-21

I am not looking to hurt anyone. I believe the scripture is clear, God will not remove our freewill. Salvation by grace through faith. If some one no longer has that faith - then the result is no salvation.

Renee Davenport your statement is false The Bible tells us by faith with prayer and supplication meaning that we have faith in God to do, but we must move as well. We can’t solely rely on God for our request and do nothing. Works as said by Paul in the Bible are moralistic which implies that if we do good deeds, God will reward and bless us. That implies if we do good, God will do good to us which is false! Look at the book of Job. We do “good” because we live by the spirit and want to please God and thank him for having mercy and grace on us. If we do it bc we want blessings we are selfish and that is not fruitful. Works are based on what the individual must do to get into heaven, not what God already did for our salvation.
