To be fair to Jack, adding the zoom in post is the correct way to film this and likely what he assumed would happen. As long as your quality is good enough, a digital zoom in post vs while recording is irrelevant so it’s always better to have a wider frame to edit.
I love that Nick doesn’t remember anything until it comes to 12:05. He sees the grapefruit and immediately remembers, as a facejam fan this is the Nick energy I love seeing.
This is what makes this channel so unique. Achievement Hunter and Let’s Play were incredible, but the 4th wall breaking humor and world building that is F**k. Face gives me so much hope as someone who began laughing with Geoff and Gavin since their videos in 2012 with achievement hunter (R.I.P.). Thanks for bringing the laughs AN EGG. Couldn’t have survived the last year supporting my S.O. W/ cancer without a few laughs from my favorite podcast. Thanks as always guys ❤

If you compare this video to the non-commentary, you can see how bad Jack actually was with the camera, and how they had to try and fix them in post XD
I would love Fruit Throw ||, including more throwers - TPG and Andrew represented by his childhood potato cannon. But dno about yall but I think we need to measure from landing. Maybe if we dunk the fruit in edible dye so it makes a mark.

At camp growing up we had that greased watermelon thing but I don't think we did a race, I think it was like soccer and you had to get it past the goalie

How much time is between the filming of this and the commentary? It's almost as if you guys got the wrong Nick to do the commentary. The only thing he remembered was how good the blood orange tasted.
They mention in this that they filmed it the same day and right before the Surströmming Nose Flaps Test - which was released almost 4 months ago, and filmed even earlier than that. Maybe July? So about 5 months. OR it could be ein doppelgängernick!
5:30 Nick forgot that this was Gavin doing a false throw, which led to Gavin saying "Did you see how I got Jack like a dog" 😆 Props to Andrew for coming up with this TPG commentary video! I forgot that they said Nick was in it, so that made it even better.
i kept getting frustrated that nick doesnt remember anything about filming but i always forget when they film things in advance. andrews phone with the date in the corner would have been useful here hahaha
TPG is the Hobbs and Shaw guy that Eric and Gavin talked about previously. As for the audio issues this was recorded before Gavin was able to fix them in post. Those issues were the main issue that caused the fruit throw video to be delayed as long as it had.
TPG shouted out the Pacific Northwest, and specifically called out Forks of all places 😂 I mean Forks is nice, but it wouldn't have been the first PNW town that came to my mind. Maybe he's a big Twilight fan.
