The funny thing is that, months ago, my friend that recommended me to watch Fruits Basket couldn't understand how Yuki could see Tohru as a mother figure, I explained it is a complicated feeling but there was this movie "When the promised flower blooms" that could make understand better the feeling of love without romanticism. But to discover they share the same VA just confirmed even more the link I made between those two female characters 😭💕

I find it funny how Toshiyuki Morikawa has voiced some of the most badass villains in anime history (Kira and Bondrewd) and then some gentle souls like Kazuma and Ubuyashiki.
