Yeh, humanoids are good sometimes. We’ll give them another 1,000 years and see if they can straighten themselves out. I see you are of the canine species. We’ll do our best to spare you if things don’t work out.
No rump shaking, no autotune, no gimmicks. Simply pure entertainment to put our minds at ease. Not typical of today's times so it is refreshing. Thank you GENTRI.
This is how you know you're great preformers/singers. Everyone just stopped and listened, the audience was lost in the moment with you. You took them on a musical journey and they loved it. Beautiful sound gentlemen, God bless!
@@mesmipha4987 It appears that the vid was taken by someone in their traveling group. The rest can just enjoy. I would rather have someone immerse and enjoy than lose the experience by watching a phone screen.
@@macgrad1 we both ended up here during a really stressful time in the US. Wonderful to hear IZ’s version of this song played to de stress someone elses’s situation
I would have loved this if I was waiting for a delayed flight. To have someone do this is great, but these guys exceed what you might hear, on average. These guys are talented and have incredible harmony.
Ok, I've been living in a cave, and have never heard of these guys. The vocal power ("singing from the gut") of these guys is just incredible. I love the "raw" no-studio/effects..etc purity of the sound of their performance. A great start to (almost) 2023 ! to hear these guys, / stumble onto this video.
Now these are real singers. They know how to use their voices to create beautiful music. They also know how to project their voices so people far away can hear their music and the words. They don't have to sing using the microphone so people can hear what they are singing.
The airport also separates people a lot better than most. The section they are in is security checked and gives you like 4 gates, like 3 of these per terminal and 3 terminals total. Local authority voted to make a giant terminal sadly, but that's taking time thankfully.
That was a beautiful performance. What made it even more beautiful is the fact that these guys were motivated by love for their fellow man. I would hate to be one of those 697 haters that gave this performance a "thumbs down". I cannot even imagine how miserable their lives must be.
I've seen them in concert twice and seen them act in Les Miserables play in Utah. Very talented and 3 of the nicest guys. Very down to earth. Truly good guys!!
Love that people actually took the time to appreciate this. This type of talent is only valuable because of the joy it brings to those who do it and love it.
I am not a native English speaker and I only know some of the song's lyrics. They sang it beautifully and loved it more because they have clear diction. Thank you, sirs.
My brother passed away last week and we used to listen to this song on car rides together, this brought back some good memories, thank you guys. Keep putting smiles on people’s faces 😎👍👍
Love the feeling, love the song. Used to live for a while in Ireland, the people there are so open-minded that they would always find a way to play music and sing songs, in pubs or in the street. Couldn't find the same spirit in the US, but these lads sure are a delight and joy, and most definitely fill people's heart with warmth. Good on you, boys!!! Keep it up.
Get real! Honestly, how many Americans can play music? Music is not the center of our nat'l identity the way Irish music, tales, & performance are for that country. The US is not Ireland. We can't even get music education funding in the schools b/c it is NOT a cultural priority. Compare Ireland to other UK nations or Europe. America is too young, dumb, & scarred. I wish. How many American homes even have an instrument? I bet Ireland has 5x more instruments in the average home.
@@beaulah_califa9867 Yet, I know of Americans with music literacy. It’s not because you’re American, it’s the culture. Whether you have Irish or whatever other national blood, it just depends on the people. I don’t think you’re dumber than others. Ireland is into music thanks to their past. You need to know what they went through and you’ll understand what music meant to them, as what it meant for African slaves (spirituals, soul, etc.). As I said I didn’t find the same spirit in the USA but I should’ve been more precise. I only stayed in Southern California (LA, SF, San Diego, I was living near Riverside) and Las Vegas. I’m sure I could find music bands in other states. I still love Country music I happened to discover in America back in 1993/4.
Totaly agree! Years ago in an Irish Pub, people started singing. They noticed I was german and so they want me to sing a german song. I told them, that my voice is not great, so I can't sing here in public. But they didn't take no for answer. So I sung „Hoch auf dem gelben Wagen" and all listened and gave me a big applause. Amazing people! And a big moment to remember.
Israel kamakawiwole Bradah Iz put this song on the map. He wasn't the original but the world fell in love with his version lol him up on you tube you'll see why people loved him so much. Legend In Hawaii nice to see other people are keeping his music alive. much Mahalo.( many of Thanks).
I love to hear a group of men sing together, it’s just beautiful. Especially when they are in tune and compliment each other vocally. Well done. Maria from Australia. Xxx
Same! I was stuck in New York for 7 hours on May 28, 2018 due to several severe tornado weather that shutdown Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Michigan. I was supposed to fly back into Chicago that day..
What a fabulous idea to have entertainment, especially music for all the frustrated passengers and staff at the airport! 'Gentri' are wonderful and the choice of songs is just great! Music is the common denominator for all of us. It can change our mood and uplift our spirits!💗🌹🌈
We all have gifts. So sweet that these fellows shared theirs with waiting passengers awaiting their destinations. Gifts that are freely given are TREASURES of the soul. Beautiful sentiment dear fellow travelers. GOD BLESS!
Brudda Iz has had a huge impact on this world.....His rendition of this song really touches the heart of people all over the world!....Hawaii is so proud of Brudda Iz Kamakawiwo'ole!
These guys were absolutely great, and how very nice of them to share their talent at such a stressful time. Really...........such a good blending of voices with the ukulele!
How kind of them! I would’ve loved it even if I weren’t stranded for the extra hour. How can people give this a thumbs down? Great song, great voices, wonderful performance. Cheers, guys!! Thank you for posting. 🌹
They're singing gives me hope that there is still love in the world. They give me a reason to fight another day and try to beat this cancer that's been with me forever thank you. you guys are awesome
@@whitneyasmr8850 Thumbs down still count as "hits" as far as RU-vid algorythems are concerned. Besides, what if the "hater" just mistakenly hit the wrong button? RELAX!
These guys are the best...ever..harmonies are perfect..you definitely know how to pull in a crowd, very professional. hope to hear more coz your voices are gold thankyou and God bless you 🎶🎸
Yesterday I knew nothing about this trio. Then my neighbors invited me to a GENTRI concert in Cedar City. Before the concert I watched this video, then COULD HARDLY WAIT to attend! I knew we were all in for a great time, and so it was! What a gifted group of wonderful men they are.... and Stephen, the piano/player and arranger was incredible too. Two people in the audience were invited to choose two commonly known songs, one from a famous Movie soundtrack, the other a well-known song. So the ET soundtrack and Sweet Caroline were selected, and on the spur of the moment, Stephen combined the two songs (on the piano) and the result was out of this world BEAUTIFUL, stirring and incredible. Godspeed to this lovely group of darling, gifted and fine young men.
I remember this Song from ER when Mark was dying..and of course from "Meet Joe Black". It became a "bridge" for me and my daughter. I cry each and Every time I hear it. Love You Kates 😍
Wow…I remember that episode of ER. It…and probably this song just as much…brought tears to my ears watching it. I really hated to see Mark Green be written off of ER. Heck he practically made the show. I also remember the song when watching Meet Joe Black and don’t forget You’ve Got Mail. Really a gem of a song and when performed with harmony is one of the all time best songs ever.
Wow guys.... I fell in love with Izzy singing this. You're vocals and harmony is smashing.. Looking forward to hearing so much more from y'all. Stay safe, and don't your hearts out 🙏❤️
I wouldn't mind my flight being delayed if there's a possibility of living such a time of grace. I don't count the number of times I missed my bus because of a talented busker! :-)
My mom and dad used to sing this with me and my siblings, they've both passed, so this song means a lot, especially when sung by people sing it to make others happy, thank you.
What an amazing gift! I wish more people felt like spreading cheer where they can. I also wish I had something to share like this. What an awesome trio! I'll bet more than one of those passengers adds this to their highlights reel!
