You are mostly correct about that last fight Stephen. To quote Kyle of Hypershock - "Glitch hit Rotators weapon so hard it bent up and took off its own bottom plate from the side. That plate used to be Ti, and when it hit itself before, the weapon would just skive off. Since the bottom is aluminum, the weapon bit in, and sheared off all the hardware. The next tooth came around and cut some of the batteries loose."

Glitch is the bot equivalent of the guy who intentionally skips leg day to focus on lifting at the gym.

Honestly Retrograde shouldve won that fight. If i was scoring it I would go (Retro/Glitch) Damage: 1/4, Retrograde sliced up some armor and bent the forks, plus they were still relatively mobile. Control: 3/0 Glitch didn't fucking move for half that fight. And when they did it wasnt controlled Aggression: 2/1 Glitch came back and hit a few shots in the end, took the wheels off and all. But Retrograde was being far more aggressive for far longer Final Score: 6/5 Retrograde

WHAT IN THE BLOODY HELL IS UP WITH GLITCH'S RNG IN THIS FIGHT JD win against Gruff SPLIT JD win against Retrograde SPLIT JD win against Uppercut OHKO win against Rotator Seriously, I haven't seen Rotator get it's ass kicked that badly since Witch Doctor in season 2 and Bite Force in season 3

I think glitch is the future. It's still very new and has to iron out things, but a very low to the ground body on omniwheels with a vert. That's a good concept.

Glitch vs Gruff, when Glitch got under Gruff they bent down part of Gruff's underside as a secondary hit while Gruff was in the air. Gruff was partially high-centered for the rest of the match.

I have no idea why Uppercut and Free Shipping were put into the same half. it was asking for the exact same fight. Did you have to put free shipping against Ice Wave? Could battlebots not put any other lifter (retrograde, slammow, claw viper, defender) versus it if they wanted a lifter v horizontal fight?

Glitch's omni wheels are it's weakness but once it lands a hit it's amazing, instead of bigger wheels, would glitch work with triple crown's wheel pods, still able to face head on while changing direction, but it would definitely give it more ground clearance, or nuts' meltybrain drive🤷‍♂️

Even though Glitch has some driving problem as a being too low to the ground, but it does have a impressive damage as it destroyed Rotator.

Glad to see you're keeping yourself busy, talking about a topic, we both love. Fighting Robots. I still think the Judging Criteria needs to change, from damage being the main point scorer to aggression, but that's just me. Have a good day! 👍

Witch Doctor and Skorpios are the remaining gate keepers. The Skorpios team put out a video recently where they had a shirt of the 4 gatekeepers.

Going by glitch logic, they’ll come back with fully working and reliable drive..and go 0-4 Definitely the weakest episode so far but had enough highlight blows that I didn’t hate it by any stretch.

Glitch and rotator wow what a hit

After the previous two episodes, yeah, this one wasn't the best. Glitch continues to be impressive, massive props to Kyle and co, but I dunno, I feel like it's still missing something. The main thing that annoys me about it is how it's not very aggressive, like it always needs to wait for the opponents to come to it before getting an attack in. Good defensive strategy, just not overly exciting to watch. Also, out of EVERY robot Glitch has fought, who would've thought the bots that would come closest to beating it would be Ghost Raptor and Retrograde?

Hot Take: I'm still not sold on Glitch. Yes it hits hard, but because it has such trouble simply moving across the box floor, I feel that at least three of its career wins were more down to a technicality if anything. Plus with all the inconsistency surrounding controlled movement over the last season, I just don't feel like Glitch has truly earned all of the star power it has acquired from its wins.

Its crazy, Rotators own weapon blew out its armor the bolts wernt made to take a hit from behind. But Props to Glitch for causing it to happen. Videos are still fun to listen to. Thanks for posting them still.

Glad it wasn't just me who thought this was an underwhelming episode full of frustrating fights!! (Of course it probably doesn't help that I watched Antweight Anarchy Episode 2 just before it. ) I'm yet to be convinced by Omni-Wheels as cool as they are, and as useful as they seem in theory, they just seem to lack the durability and traction you need in the Battlebox. They're arguably the cause of many of Shatter's losses and are definitely the main cause of Glitch's problems as well.

Glitch really lives up to its name. To be on the Golden Bolt tournament it's a glitch on the matrix. But also this emphasize my point of on using the spinner to win on ground it's the real way to get the best of the Vert meta, not using silly forks.

I'm a fan of Glitch so I liked this episode. The "can they keep winning". I worry they'll get more ground clearance and then they'll be able to move but they'll suck. All these make me ask, how the heck did Hydra manage to flip Glitch?

I can't have been the only one hoping that Free Shipping's flamethrower would cause ICEWAVE's engine to blow up?

Great video! Promote it, RU-vid! See, I'm engaging! Gotta remember: Glitch is a rookie! Also the first heavyweight and, like, 3rd combat robot of any size for most of the team. Like if they'd gone 1-2 in the main season we'd be saying "yeah, maybe has potential, see ya next year I hope" but instead we're saying "wow how'd they stumble into being a Champion?" Pretty incredible. Like you say, if they get their drive sorted they are going to be absolutely monsters. BTW heard from them on the Robocast that they do have a lot of planned drive improvements, like a suspension of some kind to ensure their wheels stay on the ground despite the uneven floor.
