Was hilarious that “money pit” was out even before you was gone..😁 , yep the glasses are goners. Opie is probably loving all moms attention, and Jax is going through grumpy old man..😁 you will go back in the groove of the trucking world, and after a two week hiatus.. Just a side note: my Dad passed away this morning.. died in his sleep at home..it’s hard and go through times of crying, but I have my family to lean with them for me and me for them… thank you for all the well wishes and prayers over the past year, I appreciate it more than I can express 😩🥺🥺🥺🦮🐕🦺🦮
Thank you, I love your videos. I roam around YT for a while and when I get dissatisfied with all of it, I view your videos and I am grounded again. ❤ Thank you to you and your family. ❤
With what occurred within the first ten minutes of this video, I would have thought you would have just gone back to bed. At least the glasses weren't glued to your face. The real world is very unfortunate. Common sense is very rare. Take Cocoa with you. When you're getting frustrated, you can enjoy something silly. I find myself needing to find and create humor more every day. Please stay safe, and God bless.
Kurt, I recently found your videos on RU-vid, and tonight Subscribed. End of Feb 2021, I finally retired my truck driving, being 71 yrs old, I had enough! Lots of crazy drivers out there. I hated ice and heavy fog driving. Most of my driving was as a company driver. But, I'm really enjoying your driving as an owner operator, you have lots of patience! Be Safe out there! GOD Bless You
I've started watching ladds garage he trucks in a western star.. he is out of mosurri runs to Oklahoma and Illinois... keeps the language clean..runs flatbed..
I’m so happy I don’t have to deal with that rain fog ice stuff any more! That white knuckle driving, eyes straining for twelve hours, don’t need it! I feel your pain! Thanks for sharing.
I hear ya,buddy they don't bother to let you know before you get there that you can't get in the way you came in last time.like you said, stupid glad in retired.
Kurt, a glass case, so that when you are not wearing them, they can be kept safe, in your pocket. That's how I keep my sunglasses, while wearing my regular glasses. Best wishes from the warm far North!!!
I know how op feels I have joint problems with my hips and cold weather doesn't help and we had a bunch of rain this weekend and it didn't help ether great video keep up the good work God bless from GA stay safe have a safe trip 😊
I sure enjoyed the video and was hoping to hear your “chat”…. I appreciate your channel and your safety consciousness in doing the impossible for the unthankful.
That’s the one thing I love about dragging a thermos. No tandem slidings needed. FYI when you glued your frames back together, you should’ve glued the frames without the lens and then popped the lens back in after the drying process. Just a thought in the future driver. Be safe
Hello 👋 Hey HI and Howdy.. lol .😂. RIGHT.. I been runnin into a few gaurds that were Sroned or High.. heck i just seen a ddiver the other day that was HIGH as a Kite .. urghh ... Peace ✌ 💚 & 18 Wheels to All...
The other day, you said, going to look into a canvas tent. Saw the slide in camper was in a pull behind trailer. I saw many of them at Rodney pits, South Wood, and other camp ground. I think It would work for some local camping but stay safe
Kurt, Hello that road looked iffy a couple of times.... your hood looked like a snowcone machine in the video. Good to see you are safe ice is bad. How about finding a k9 bed or pad for the garage for Jaxs and Opie. That cold floor in the winter is not good for their bones. Love your family... Love ur channel. Dan Snodgrass
Hi ! like i said it before, i been hauling pork for 7 years from Montreal area to Toronto area GTA. all in boxes ! and sometimes coming back with totes of pork fat but the most amazing is we ship frozen pork ribs in containers to Japan on a regular basis !From Vancouver ! 😎
46 years I always carried an extra pair of glasses in the truck. A company I was leased to for 15 years used state troopers for security at the gate. They were always sleeping at night and occasionally in the day.
Maybe I was very fortunate . . . when I was driving in the 1970's ice was only a challenge a few times. Going west on I-80 in eastern PA, there is that time when rounding a long curve, slowly, proved beneficial. Wisely, a Greyhound Scenecruiser parked on the side of the highway due to the ice. All was well until I noticed the back end of the trailer was drifting towards the bus. Great concern! Gently I applied the trailer brakes and I'll be a son-of-a-gun if the trailer didn't straighten out much to my relief. I think that is one of those times when, as has been said by others, I'd rather be lucky than good. Yeah, one cannot be cautious enough, better to call a halt than to press ones' luck. Glad the weather favored you and your semi, happier still nothing bad occurred. You're a very fine and sensible trucker, no doubt. Be well.
I apologize I haven’t been able to watch videos. I should be able to soon. I feel and broke my right side hip in three different locations, I have had my first surgery and they put in rods and screws. I was told that they might have to go back in and fix more depending on how it moves. So I am hit or miss videos. Keep making videos I will eventually get caught up.
I am with you on the people being stoned. I do not care who what or why it was legalized in some places because it will always be illegal to me period! Have a great night!
Wow, that Hill Pet Foods looks like one pain in the ass place! Years ago I went to the Lays plant a couple times. Otherwise that's about it for Topeka.
Kurt. Until you can get back and get new glasses, stop and buy some Q-tips and a bottle of nail polish remover. If you’re VERY careful (and you put the window down so you don’t gas you and the German out!), you should be able to get most of the glue off the lenses. Don’t get it soppy and just go slow. Hmm, wonder how she knows these things?
you are very welcome. I worked at Topeka Harley for several years. Have you been to the Evel Knievel Museum? Go do the virtual jump ride, it’s a hoot! Its moving to Las Vegas later this year😟@@truckingwithschmidt7120
Me and my buddy got that ice in Joplin shut us down 12 hours. Other friends of .ine chained up in Oklahoma city and still got stuck. Looks like u missed all the fun
Love your videos Kurt! Must admit I used to go off a bit back when .... Do you have similar eyes or is one better then the other? If they are the same you can go grab some $9.95 ones from any chemist, supermarket or similar to do the same job. (in Australia anyway) My eyes are different so I buy one pair of 1.5 & a similar pair of 2.0+ & swap the lenses. Costs under $20. My eye specialist told me to stop wasting money!!!
hemp seed's high in dietary fiber! it's more soluble if U freeze it in ice cream before eating! super duper run down. burh! you could have been a fisherman instead!!👍👍
Yeah Mr. Kurt, I hear ya on the stupidity stuff. The ridiculous manner which people seem to operate in is just maddening, and it's in a LOT of places, but I'd sure like to see consequences for some of that stuff. If you're not going to bother doing the job you have, then let someone else have it that wants to work, that will do a good job and make an effort.
@@truckingwithschmidt7120 nail polish remover will take super glue off. I had worked for cheap people in the 80’s and 90’s. We carried rubbing alcohol because back then they were four for a dollar. Everytime we filled up in the cold weather we would dump one bottle in each tank. Then when the air valves were shut off, we opted rubbing alcohol down each line and then hooked them to the trailer and get back in and push the valves in and it would circulate the entire system.
You have (rightly so) complained in the past about truckers that don't get their trash into the trash cans by the pumps, or at the rest area, etc.. But when you pulled away after dropping the trailer, I could swear I saw two blue things on the ground that looked suspiciously like booties. I'm not angry, just disappointed...
What kind of fuel mileage you getting with your W9 because on mine I have an apu and is an 04 W9 same color as yours with a C15 475 HP with a 10 spd and I’m getting 6.75 mpg a was thinking about an 18spd to see if I can get more mpg
