Correct! I am and have been well aware of this... but still, its just so frustrating when I'm trying to give out names that I've been told were correct by fellow trickers, and then when I upload it, I see various comments attempting to correct my terminology... it's like a never-ending debate between tricking terms and tkd terms and w/e other terms. I think perhaps I should leave terminology for the titles but when teaching, just doing the tricks and the movements.
Fronside 9 is where your kicking leg is in front, Backside 9 is where your kicking leg is in the back. Usually in the master scoot you plant TWO hands as you set up, but I am a TD Raiz kinda guy so I'm comfortable planting only one. Hope that helped! =)
This is why I love your videos; whenever I'm feeling down and I watch them, you bring such positivity and excitement that you flip my mood to the better! I really hope the best for you, your sweetheart and Ofc. The newest addition to your family! (; - all the best from a longtime fan! :)
lolz a while back when I used to train some of the guys and I would try and combo while saying random phrases just to see if we could control our bodies while also focusing on what we're saying.
You know awkward the trick feel when you're first doing them? That's about how awkward it'll be for your other side, but you trained and trained and trained and you learned more about the movement and yourself and what happened? YOU GOT BETTER... it will always be the same way on the other side. =)
Henri Heikkinen doesn't have to. but the leg need to be off the ground. Some people doing scoot with both hand too, so for master scoot, you can go either both or one hand like him.
Hey epic. Very nice tutorial! i have 2 questions for you about the terminoligy in the combo. The FS 9 looks just like the BS 9 what is the difference between those two moves? My second question: Isn't a masterscoot from the setup of something that you can c/t and then going into a kinda scoot but with 2 hands? other than that i really enjoyed your tutorial. keep em coming as i really would like to get better at tricking =) (Hope that you can bear with my somewhat bad english)
The cork is the only advanced trick in this combo... everything else except MAYBE the master scoot is easy but the master scoot I would prob. categorize as an intermediate move, but that don't mean a beginner shouldn't practice it. I've seen plenty of beginners land a cheat gainer before they landed a backflip.
Bro, tricking doesn't require anything but open ground... you could be in west bumble fuck and become a beast tricker... so don't complain about not having a place to train, find a park or a field and start there. Click the tornado progression link and it'll bring you to my TRICKING BASICS tutorial and watch that and it'll help you find a starting point to start training.
Hey kyle! I was wondering if you could do a pimp flip tutorial cause there is no good ones out there -.- need your help bro! Any way have a good one and congrats on being a dad :D
thanks for the tutorial, i have learned a lot from all of them and because of you and others i have put up my own channel, its a lot harder to get views then i thought though, here is a link to me trying the combo, can you tell me if i am doing ok with it learning new tricking combos
Don't focus on views, you'll waste a lot of time if all you try to do is get people to follow you. Just train hard, release good content and people will follow you if they appreciate it enough.
your "fs 9" is a pop tornado or maybe "frontside" tornado.., a fs 9 or (as i call it )pop 9 would involve 1 more spin. The 9 in the name is based on the rotation 900 degrees. The Frontside set up or as i cal it pop set up is the most accurate one in terms of rotation. a pop 360 is exactly 360 degrees then comes pop tornado, pop 540, pop 720 etc etc but i think you already know this.
Hey man! I really want to start tricking but I don't really have access to these warehouse like gym areas, also I live in condos so it's basically all concrete everywhere. Do you have some suggestions?
Ugh this is why tricking is so stupid... because people come in and waste too much time correcting terminology... JUST HAVE FUN, that's the important part!
And that's not a master scoot, that's just a regular scoot, but you don't touch your knee. A master scoot is where you throw yourself backwards and sideways onto your hands, land on your jumping leg, and swing. What you're doing is continuing the hook into a wrapping motion to generate power, then kicking into a scoot. NOT THE SAME!!!
