All 3 cameras looj great enough to go and write a killer story and hit the film festivaks and netlix. Its all about the story.

This was a bad representation of the FS100. Its a Super 35mm.

It is obvious that the AF1-00 has met the standard not only in concept but at the box office with films like The Raid and others who have performed on multiple screens holding up visually to Red and other larger budget cameras. Can't be said for DSLR at all. Waste of money. Invest the $2k-$3k and get the AF100 or the Red Scarlet for a few grand more. Stop pretending that little dslr is going to produce a major project. If you're gonna go there go all the way. If not just call it a hobby.

Let me revise. If you shoot DSLR shoot for a cinema release. Build a real rig. Do high impact, high production value shots with dolly's, cranes, & steady cams. There is so much crap out there. Like they think buying a 5D and posting trailers to a movie that hasn't even been completed makes them directors. RESEARCH how a great film is made and let the holder of the tool be measured by his skill. I just don't want to hear anymore AF100 bashing from still camera pixel geeks who haven't made a film.

In retrospect, given the somewhat strange results u get out of 2 of this old cams, the clear winner is the DSLR that was never intended be a cam, and became the HIT we know. Given the bad result for the 2 other cams (colors, codec handling, and so one) u just dream the Canon 5D could be even better, with some work around... But it's already very Ok, and so much ahead of the 2 others prosumer cam. Nobody cares any more for this oldies, but this vid proves that a certain "NO PAIN FACTOR" is so important when u deal with prosummers, that want to see the results just out of the box... kind of. And, why not.
