In this video, we use VOR to navigate between two airports as well as explain the operating principles, how to tune and how to follow. Flight takes place in a Bonanza G36 over Beruit.
Amazing, you crammed 4 hours of instruction for me into a super fast-paced 20 minutes! Thank you, I know VOR nav from FS2000 but the way FS2020 and glass panels work, is new to me and I'm hopeless without your great video!
i have been looking EVERYWHERE for an update/more complete tutorial for VOR navigation everywhere and here you are..... thank you so much for the work you put into all this!
Recently started watching your videos, at start I thought they were a little bit chaotic, but now they're much easier to understand :) And I don't know why.. but your "boop" sound is very satisfying :D
I've been trying to figure out triangulation using the G1000 without a lot of luck. For instance instead of VOR to VOR using waypoints based on two VORs. Any chance we can get a video in the future with this? Thanks again for all you're doing!
P Gatcomb, thank you for your videos, I find them very helpful in how I enjoy FlightSim2020. If you are taking requests :D Is there a holding procedure in the A320, if you have to hold at a waypoint before landing?
at about 11:10 you quickly said the difference between DME distance and Bearing distance but i didn't catch what it was. can you explain in a bit more detail for me :)
Hello. What the range of VOR beacons in MSFS? i tried to travel from ULLI VOR, it said in documentation in LittleNavmap that it is 130 nm range. but i have lost single not even as far as 90 nm...
Another ace video. How have you got the simulation rate to increase? I've tried hitting the 'r' button as per instructions, but it doesn't seem to work!
