What do you think of the new GPS System? Would you add or change anything? Riverbend Springs Gameplay - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oBswE265vks.html Hutan Pantai Gameplay - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4FjK9naaleQ.html
These changes are absolutely incredible. The option to do the headlands ourselves and AI do the rest is perfect for anything like potatoes, sugar beets, or veggies.
The amount of lag is very concerning, none of the new features matter if its a laggy mess. It's 2024, a decent pc should not be struggling to get 60fps playing this game.
This is also a new feature... :D As long as the game is built on Giants Engine, it will be like this, the guys have been patching it for 16 years, that's all it knows. It's time to let go and change to a better engine.
What I'm curious about is if they've upgraded AI workers for hauling loads to the mills etc and returning. fs22 they always got hung up some where along the way and it just became a pain.
Looks great really excited to try it my question is will it work with multiple tractors or combines in the field, or will it be like it used to be having to have them on opposite sides of the field
I’m wondering if settings will be saved? So if you change the number of headlands and orientation and stop half way in the field. If you reopen the save game will if continue with those settings? PS: it’s awesome to have this new GPS
Would be nice to have an option to have smooth rather than sharp corners on headlands, similar to courseplay. Some fields on mod maps are too tight to have space for sharp corners.
We all had different computers, and different recording setups. BUT I was the first person that played on the computer that I did, and the cache hadn't been filled up yet, so I was getting non stop lag no matter what I did =/
Do we know anything about the otherside of the AI? Like how I'm FS22 you can have a AI worker deliver grain from a silo to another? Possibly more as a more similar comparison to corseplay?
Looking at the settings you should be able to set your (baler) implement width to be the same as the header or windrower and it technically should run the same course right?

If I remember correctly the laptop he used to run the WiP version wasn't high end for gaming. This very well may not have been played on the best system especially if DJ had to travel to this event.
@@echomike78 Also an other youtuber comfirmed that these game plays are on a older build. But has been patched.. and also 22 was really bad at the start... giants will fix it
They HAVE to add an option to define a field edge. So you can use the gps on non fields. Like grassland and pastures. It will suck a bit if you have to create a new field with a plow to get it to work
AI worker mode: you can leave and do something else with another machine. The AI does all the turning and forward/backwards. GPS mode: you have to be in the machine to keep it running. You do the turning and forward/backwards and keep speed (or set cruise control).
@TheHrt5 prob an equivalent to GPS Mods. Which honestly fair. There is a really large amount of options for both gps and courseplay (the mod equivalent of AI driver mode) that just arent here.
