"Now as for you, son of man, I have appointed you a watchman for the house of Israel; so you will hear a message from My mouth and give them warning from Me. When I say to the wicked, ‘O wicked man, you will surely die,’ and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require from your hand. But if you on your part warn a wicked man to turn from his way and he does not turn from his way, he will die in his iniquity, but you have delivered your life."

Got mine 6 months ago, and it still has a place in my jeans pocket every day. It’ came with perfect centering and a highly polished, perfect edge. Way better than any Benchmade or Spyderco I’ve purchased. I still can’t believe I got it for $30. I actually bought two more, and a couple more for family. Kershaw better be paying attention.

I used to collect Ruike knives. The past couple of years, I've sold quite a few of them and gave a few away. I still have six in my collection. Just yesterday, I used my P128-SF on a cardboard box. That thing is a slicer. The best among all the Ruike knives I've tried. It's also a looker with it's harpoon style bead blast blade. I've never owned a P801 but I do have the P108-SF and the P135-SF. My dealer has a P801. Maybe I should get that. The only thing with these steel handled knives is how slippery they can get.

I bought one like-new for $20 and man was I blown away. I knew it was nice before I bought it but after I got it I was even more impressed. I picked up the P108 (diff model) at Blade Show and have yet to carry it b/c this model is so nice.

Based solely on your practically glowing review of this knife, I bought it straight away. I recently bought my first sharpening system (I went for the KME kit along with their set of lapping films) and I figured I should try to find a few very inexpensive knives to buy so that I could get some good practice under my belt before taking a diamond stone to one of my $200-300 knives. This knife was a perfect candidate. Thanks as always for the great reviews and for all of the sharpening tips you've handed out over the years.

Has Hell frozen over ? My word , miracles never cease to amaze me . I like this design as it is simple and doesn't have a secondary lock like some of their other designs . I bought the 865B Whanrncliff and it comes with a mirror polished edge . A great bang for the buck .

Just got mine, cuts phone book paper flawlessly and easily push cuts right out of the box!!! My only question is why pay it’s equivalent to have it sharped. Probably cost more including shipping 🤔. The protruding screws in the deep pocket clip caused no interference when putting in jeans pocket. Very good slicer. Opening is with as ease as a spring assist. My centering also slightly favors the lock side as well. Very accurate review. Thanks

When I am buying a knife, I buy nothing but a knife. I buy neither American nor Chinese. When you are buying or collecting a product, you should be looking for the quality of the product which suited with your needs and the price of the product which relates to the quality of the product, not the name of the Country and/or nationality.

Some people (like me) don’t want to support the economy of a repressive communist regime. Some of us don’t want to contribute to the huge transfer of wealth between the US and China due to completely lopsided trade deals which favor the Chinese. In short, some of us care more about our country than getting the latest, greatest knives. It’s difficult if not downright impossible to avoid buying Chinese products for everyday necessities and electronic goods. But there are plenty of nice knives to buy from non-communist nations.

Rob- I fell off my chair when I saw you doing a Chinese knife. The company is pronounced Rake (I know it makes no sense with that spelling). I think someone like you reviewing this knife is important. I have been warning US companies that the Chinese are blowing their socks off in materials, quality and price. Maybe they will listen to you. WE's new Civivi line, Bestech, and Real Steel are making high quality budget knives. A Bestech 3-D milled G-10, with ceramic bearings and D2 steel comes in at $52. The Delica with FRN and VG-10 is now $75. No contest which is the better knife and value. Enjoy the Grind-In.

I don’t begrudge anybody with a thin wallet for getting one of these, but I’m sticking with my ESEE Zancudo for my daily carry beater knife. It’s cheaper, a bit thinner, and whereas we don’t have a lot of choices anymore on where our goods come from, we do with respect to pocket knives (at least, for a little while longer). If my knife money for a cheap knife is going overseas, I’d rather it go to one of our solid Asian allies than the country who has them (and us) in their crosshairs.

It's nice to see you give a Chinese knife a chance. I saw the review you did on the Kizer Aileon, and I couldn't help but feel like the review was more about your patriotism than it was the knife itself. Kizer makes a budget line called Tangram in the sub-$50 price range, and they're great choices in that area of the market.

I bought the “black washed” version and was super impressed. Blade centering on mine was off a little more than the one in the video. But being a lefty it wasn’t going to be for me. Wasn’t worth the time for me to modify it to switch the clip, so I sold it to a friend who had been looking for months for a good first knife. He loves it.

It's so good I have bought 3 of them. The plunge doesn't get in the way when lowering the angle.. solid lockup in all axis, just a fantastic knife for 30 bucks SRM does their 14c very well and so (this is made for Phenix/Ruike but Sanrenmu) it sharpens extremely well holds a edge pretty d3cent and strops back over and over and over... only thing I dislike is the thumb studs BUT the flipper is so well tuned I don't really care about that little issue. Imho it's the best 30 dollar Knife you can buy PERIOD.

I gotta say i really rike that knife. Obviously made by the same factory that made my Real Steel H6-S1 which is also a fantastic knife. I paid $51 for it, my personal budget max for Chinese budget knives. But this one looks like a winner too especially after hearing how thinly its ground.

2 things. I recently saw your review of the sebenza 21 and the general shape of this knife looks a lot like it. The other thing is that I appreciate that you talk about Jesus. Telling people about the Lord is more important than anything we will ever do during our time on earth.
@ScottieG59
@ScottieG59 6 лет назад
I agree, the Ruike P801-SF is a very well made knife, but it is very much of the same quality of other knives from Sanrenmu. I almost wish less people knew of the quality products available at low cost. It reminds me of my younger years and how many looked at Japanese products as cheap and inferior. In the 1960s, one of my father’s employees showed off his brand new Toyota, open the hood and there, on the firewall, in large bold letters was “MADE IN JAPAN.” Back then, I wondered why they would have wanted people to know the car was made in Japan. 50 years later, and most adults don’t even know there ever was a made in Japan stigma. Now, in some products, we are starting to see changes in other parts of the global economy, as in China. For now, we get to enjoy the artificial currency manipulation, which allows us to live as if our incomes are not in decline.
@TheApostleP
@TheApostleP 6 лет назад
Scott G I don’t want to climb all over you for coming in at the tail end of a long argument, Scott. That said, the old Japanese “stigma” came from an entirely different mindset than my objection to buying Chinese in today’s economy. The Japanese stigma was based totally on perceived quality, while my objection to buying Chinese knives is based on the fact that they are a trading enemy of the US, and that they are a communist country who utilizes near slave labor and have a government who manipulates currency and dumps products in “conquest” nations’ markets. Because of that, there is absolutely zero joy for me in collecting knives made in China. Also, you need to get up to date. We have over the past year-and-a-half realized a sharp upward spike in real wages, especially at the low end of the scale. We now have the fastest growing wages in over 20 years. Why? Because we have a President who actually thinks it’s his job to make America the best, strongest economic power in the world, and NOT to destroy the greatest nation on earth.

If you don't like Chinese Knifes I have never understood your contentment to Spyderco a Chinese Knife! As Wikipedia says "A large part of Spyderco knife production is outsourced to foreign contractors in countries such as Japan, Taiwan, Italy, and China"
@TheApostleP
@TheApostleP 6 лет назад
hvacmach You don’t understand my position because you don’t understand the reference you quoted. Spyderco is extremely clear about which of their models are outsourced to China. I don’t like them and don’t own any of them. I own many Spydercos which are made in the US, Japan and Taiwan. Just a hint: if you’re trying to make a credible point, Wikipedia isn’t a great source to cite. The source material for their entries is not vetted in a timely or complete manner. That is fairly well known. It’s kind of like citing CNN as a credible news source. However, in this case, the statement you quoted is factual, although without context or explanation.

Your anti-china china behaviour is kinda weird. It's okay to buy their cheapo knives but it's not ok. to buy their high end knives? I got you on the humanitarian thing, but if you are so strictly against what's going on over there, you shouldn`t buy ANYTHING from china (wich is close to impossible nowadays), otherwise it makes you look inconsistent. That said, i own knives from the usa (benchmade, zt and spyderco) and knives from china (kizer, we) and the chinese knives are easily on par (if not better) in terms of quality, materials and fit and finnish. I`ve had some zt's with really shitty ht in the past, their s35vn is softer as my fox knives n690 blades, i had a zt hinderer slicer (elmax) wich had blueish discolorations on the blade due to a shitty a ht and it chipped easily, my benchmade 915 triage had bad blade vertical blade play out of the box and was scratched. I never had any of these probs with my kizer and we knives, they came perfectly centered, without any scratches and their blades are perfectly heat treated. You really miss some great knives, that's all i wanna say.
@TheApostleP
@TheApostleP 6 лет назад
M. P I wasn’t aware my position was that difficult to understand. I thought I explained it concisely in the video. As you say, Chinese consumer products are a reality of life. This knife is a good example. If you need a knife and you have only $30, this might be your best option. But as a collector / user of more expensive knives, I have no desire to collect Chinese knives. The conditions by which more expensive Chinese knives exist are not something I want to contribute to, for the reasons stated in the video. There is no joy or satisfaction for me in owning those products.
