No your auto park and summons are actually still the older version even tho you've got v12.3.3. The new updated auto parking has not rolling out for customers yet. They have different visual on the screen.
yes, but they have updated mine, for sure it is a new version of Summons and Auto park. it is different then in other versions I have had. IMO. Might be anecdotal though.
What you showed is not the new Autopark. I have it on my vision only car and it draws rectangles on empty spots and you tap the one you want it to park in. That new interface for selection indicates the new version of Autopark is being used.
Some clarification here would have been helpful. Nothing has changed with Autopark for many people with the USS as you seem to have. People with Tesla Vision (newer ones) are able to pick a spot and the car goes where you tell it on this new version. Mine is still doing a 3 point turn on this update. Your car just happened to pick on where it didn't need to do it. It's hit or miss People with Tesla Vision only are able to pick a parking spot. That hasn't rolled out to many of the older USS cars yet.
OK, I see. I wonder why version 12.2 was getting all tangled up. then 12.2.1 wouldn't even allow me to use it. Then 12.3.3 working again and seemed better?
Might have been heading to the entry of Costco. not sure it is still in a awakening stage, that could be why it does not always do what we would. But I know, When the AI when it advances it will blow our minds.

@@teslatalks9836 The update does not come with any new auto park functionality for cars with USS. Its the same auto park functionality like in 2020. For now, the enhanced auto park is only applied to Vision Only cars without USS despite the same software version of the OS.
Unfortunately, in my area, there are many roads that do not have a posted speed limit that the assumed speed limit is 55 mph and the car thinks it’s 25 mph. It is unusable in that situation.😢 Also, when it switches to the freeway stack, which is assumed to be version 11, it still takes incorrect turn lanes violently. They really need to merge version 11 and version 12 I don’t know how they will be able to fix the speed limit issue however
mine did the shimmy dance at the Supercharger in order to get centered in the stall lines must have gone fowards and backwards 5 or 6 times . There was no one around at the time. Tried the parallel with cars in front and back but had to abort due to traffic. 2023 with hardware y LR
Ok that makes sense. This must be the old Auto Summons for models with USS. FSD V12 brings Auto Park to models using Tesla Vision only but we are still waiting for Auto Summons with Tesla Vision. It should be pushing out soon. It's about time!
Ultrasonic. I think they will be the same software but one will have judgement from sensors the other vision. The algorithm will just handle the data by what it receives. Data input, vision or Sensors. it will just convert either one. IMO and they will probably kill the sensors. (disable them) once they figure out the vision distance. unless they use a bumper camera. Then they will continue with the old sensors also.
I have used the summons a lot and then they updated it and it would get all tangled up in a parking lot. now it is way better so it has been updated. at least on my car. I would think vision only would use similar stack. just tweaked a little. IMO
1:30 Summon, not sumnmons. a "summons" is something you get requiring you attend a court. ;) The title is OK though, i.e. what the car did. :) Edit: I see you have it right in your comment replies. 👍
well they took it away in the last version and the one before that it was all over the place. trying to cut across parking spaces. they defiantly updated it.
Tried summon several times in a lot of cars and you have to get so close it was like what’s the point. Then it only made it out the parking spot then said it was done. No one will be convinced to pay $12k for this IMO. Auto park is also not where it needs to be or make these two things free in update and charge less for autopilot that hates when it rains and yells constantly that it’s degraded with weather. Thanks for the free month Tesla I’ll play with the gimmicks. But not at all spending money on it
yes, it is not for everybody. but the Summons will expand when complete. Right now its just because you are still responsible for what it does. so it limits range to make sure you are in line of site. also when it becomes a RoboTaxi it will need to go to a front entrance to Like the theater or restaurant ect. it will get there from miles away. but if you travel a lot the 6k bundle includes summons and park. freeway entrance and exit with lane changes. that is the best deal they have going right now. and then when you need city streets you can just rent it month to month for 100.00 I have had it for two and a half years and at first it was a gimmick. now with around 15k under my belt it is a game changer for long trips. it has literally saved my life on so many occasions when I travel by my self. I doze off. it not only keeps driving it hollers at me and wakes me up. How much is that worth to someone. or your family to keep you safe.
@@importon It is smooth enough to not be a concern. The amount the car moves the wheel is completely unrelated to how well it performs its task. Humans are just used to indecisiveness being a sign of a bad driver. Once the car is able to drive properly they will adjust the certainty needed for it to start turning the wheel.
