I never saw Yoro kick a ball and didn’t know who he was, but that’s not the point. Liverpool wanted him and pursued him. They sat there waiting patiently like a dog waiting for food. To go all that way and lose him to our arch rivals is just embarrassing. I feel ashamed as a supporter. They can make excuses all they want about not justifying paying a lot of money for an 18 year old, but why pursue him in the first place. I'm sure Yoro is a talent but I've never heard of him before a few weeks ago, so won't loose sleep. His never played in the EPL and we've seen many big names come and go. Mainoo looks fantastic but we have Bajcetic and his been incredible, so don't get too rattled by names.

He's not more of a "generational talent" than Arda Guler is and R. Madrid paid just £18m for him. Stats also shows Quansah was better than him last season. Slot is risking being sacked if he does not step his foot and force the owners to invest in a new centre-half, defensive midfielder and attacker. We need high quality players like Colwill, Alvarez, Guimares and possibly Theo Hernanadez. If Alvarez is available and we are not in for him we will regret it. Just to clarify it’s not 60 million pounds , united are actually paying 42 million pounds which when you convert it is around 50 million euros and with the adds on it goes up to 60 million euros . Everton wanted around 70 million pounds , not euros but 70 million pounds for branthwaite , that’s actually a lot compared to what they have just paid for yoro. United have actually done good business here .

As much as I would love to see new players this one I agree with. 60mil for a 18year old no experience in the PL when we have Quanz coming through plus other youngsters not to mention Gomez Konate, VD, Q so it doesn't make sense. Nobody was prepared to pay it other than UTD he was hoping for RM but even they thought it was to much of a gamble..so yeah let's buy but buy wisely 😊

Correction Craig the ticket sales was only for members that had attended 13+ games last season and are guaranteed tickets, but still need to queue for 3hrs and then get told system failed and people who have taken day's off work or booked a holiday have to now queue again. The club is a Joke

One quick correction on the Yoro transfer. The fee is around €62m (£52m) including add ons. Initial fee is purported to be €50m (£42m) but I haven’t been able to find a source for that.

Embarrassing, it's not just about Yoro although it's glaring but the fact that we haven't done anything but sign youngsters who may or may not turn into the stars that people they can turn into but anyways it doesn't help us now because if you do rely on youngsters, expect results to be inconsistent because youngsters are inconsistent. I don't think we will sign anyone because I think the centre back solution according to the club is already at the club in Van Den Berg, I believe the DM solution according to the club is already at the club in Bajcetic and or Morton, I believe the striker/forward solution according to the club is already at the club in Ben Doak or Jayden Danns and whoever else, I believe the CM solution if CM is the midfielder that we are looking for according to the club is already at the club in Bobby Clark, James McConnell etc. And while yes they are talents and could be the future for the club but right now, we can't rely on them, they need time to develop without that pressure on them. I might be wrong but koop said they were already discussing next season (24/25) in Oct/Nov in his leaving video. Either he realised he can't do another season due to transfers but surly they have a list of players
