Im leaving my FTX SUPERFORZA GT cars on the bog standard out of the box gearing . I Have taken the front splitter off mine , as it doesn't need it for a top speed of 55 mph , having less drag , and no front end digging into the road .
It's quick at 55mph to be fair. I don't blame you for leaving it stock. But as I have 2, one is my hoon car, this one is just to beat my personal best with and a bit of fun!
Nice run! I have the deathwatcher..i put a Max 8 hobby wing combo and a 21t pinion gear..i cant find the room to get top speed here where i live..what size pinion u have in yours on your last run?
I'm sure the last run was a 21t pinnion, as it was the largest I could get on without messing around with the motor mount and making modifications. It will run a higher speed. I just need the road long enough.

True I accidently put a 12s esc motor combo in my felony and hit a couple speed runs on last run I blew diffs , drive shafts and spur shattered gps read 145 .. 😢
@MannyGunzz unfortunately this is what happens when you start chasing numbers. Things can get costly! Like any hobby! As long as you enjoy it, that's the main thing!
