Ah ol 724CK. I’ve had my ear drums blown out by that ol girl a few times.

Reminiscent. You probably don't remember but I was a FO on the 727 for IFL Group and we were picking up rims in STL and you were one of the loaders that helped us load.

I worked for Atlantic Aviation for 29 yeqrs retiring as a GM at Bush Intercontinental. I fueled hundreds of these. NWA, Delta, Kalitta, Piedmint, Flying Tigers, Air Jamaice, Mexicena, Americen, Feed Ex, DHL, UPS, the list goes on...My favorite. Learned to transfer fuel on the engineers panel. When empry you could not push it off of the gate w/o 13000 lbs in the center tank or it would stand on its tail. And NEVER BAG CARTS UNDER THE WING! Cant wait to fly this. I had the captain sim version on FSX and loved it. Its old school flying!

Where I live in Michigan, 2 of Detroits cargo hubs have 727 traffic. I’m very thankful to have not one, but two airlines operating the type in the area. Pontiac Airport is home to IFL Group which operates 3 727-200s, one which flew for ANA back in the day. Willow Run used to have so much 727 traffic, but is now down to one airline operating the type, USA Jet. Kalitta Charters II retired their last 727 earlier this year which is why I was happy to see the livery you chose for this video. Sad to see airlines slowly retire the type, but I’m glad some of the older airline liveries are present in the sim. Very in depth review as always Jeff and I have to say it’s my second favorite aircraft of all time. Glad to see it replicated here!

You know it's a great day when Jeff posts a new video. When the 727 is released, will you do a full cold and dark flight tutorial of the 727? Will be nice to watch to get a nice feel for flying the airplane.

15:20 916' is decision altitude, decision height is 200', so set about 920 on the baro altimeter and 200 on radio.

Will there be a passenger variant? It would also be awsome if FSS could make the ERJ130/135/145/145XR all in variants

The video that got me into flight sim was your old x plane 10 video with the 727. Saw it in middle school and it inspired me to go flying myself. Working on my ppl right now. To think if I never saw that video I probably wouldn’t be flying irl is crazy

are the engines obnoxiously loud like the real 727. if not i dont want it

I really love the 727, but I think I’m going to wait until the passenger version releases, I’m doing this because so that way I’m able to fly some of my favorite airlines and some only classic airlines like TWA or Pan Am.

Great plane, fun fact there is about 60% part commonality with the 727 and my favorite plane the 737

Worst thing I ever bought of aerosoft. Such a buggy mess. Impossible to fly at night.... as soon as I hit throttle all my lights go out. And that was after an update not to mention

Cowboy pilot. You are lucky you have a virtual flight engineer. Much better to coordinate with that person.

You would not retract flaps from 5 to UP. MUST stop at 2 to make certain slats retract on schedule.

The airplane seems a bit twitchy during handflying, otherwise it looks very nice

Would love to see a mod where it’s just old commercials airliners flying about and at airports.

Will relive the old days of Fedex flying into Kennedy......I remember when these and the Maddogs flew over my house all the time and they made the house shake for such small aircraft compared to the old Jumbos.

Loved the video! I don’t think I heard you mention it and couldn’t find it in description, but what throttle quadrant are you using? I had an early honeycomb bravo but it’s had cables pinch and some of the hardware broke and am looking for a replacement.

hey jeff, probably an odd question but how do you get your mouse click movements around the cockpit to be so smooth, mine in msfs seems so sluggish and the movement around the cockpit seems very slow compared to xplane when i could move all around so quick with the mouse.

One must to be very lazy to fly this beauty with a GTN unit, even the GNS would have looked better, this does not fit at all with the all classic enviroment. 😒

727 is not that noisy up front. Even on takeoff all you'll here is a little rumble. Outside however is another story.

Most excited for this plane. It's definitely you get what you pay for. It gets the job done but it's certainly not going to feel anything like flying the FlyJSim 727 for Xplane. This one feels more like an upscale paper airplane 727 but with improvements, if it does get any, it will be better.

Lazy flying with GTN 750 lol. Fly VOR to VOR or at least the INS.

kalitta still flys the 727 to niagara falls i live next to buffalo but check the radar for buffalo and the falls daily and they fly there once or twice a week

Its a handsome aircraft that's for sure; This looks a little like the amazing 737 which is just the coolest Commercial airplane in my opinion Mostly cause of how oddly sporty it looks Fun watch of course also thank you!

Im a huge airliner simmer, so this one will likely get added to the line up. I still dont have the 777, mainly because I fly Airbus most of the time, but also because there are just so many great planes. Cant fly them all.

KYIP! I hear these babies blasting in and out of Willow Run and KPTK all the time. They are so loud you can hear the takeoff roll from 10 miles away. IFL Group has some at PTK as well.

Its called dragster because Connie Kalitta was a huge drag racer guy. He raced nitro Top Fuel for years / decades. Connie is still alive, 86 years old

This is amazing! When you said Ypsilanti I was like there's no way he just said that, nobody knows Ypsi. And then you said Willow Run and I about fell off the couch! I've always loved Tri Jets, especially the 727. I don't know if it's the sound, the looks or the comfort I feel looking at such a beautiful airliner but I get happy every time I see one! What a cruise!
