Losing a high grade recruit to replace with a lower grade recruit is not equal equivalent exchange it's getting clapped against the competition

I’m hoping FSU is a cold weather team and that was the issue all along. Players regress when they don’t put in the work,period! Some do it after a great season and think they can walk in and do it again without the work.

Maybe that's it! We're really just a Big Ten team at heart 😅 I agree, though. This team doesn't feel like they have the grit and determination that last year's did.

I wouldn't call it a roller coaster, his recruiting has been cheeks his entire tenure here period the 2 other in state big schools have schooled him in recruiting despite us having the better team the last few seasons

True, but this class was really good before we started losing. The roller coaster part is more to the fact that we were mad about losing one and then happy about gaining one all in the same day lol

Whomever the WR coach was in 13 was the man!! The WRs would catch anything that was thrown to them. Winston wasn’t exactly a perfect passer if I recall correctly wasn’t that LD? Didn’t the fans want him out also?

I'm pretty sure it was Dawsey, and I think they did towards the end. FSU hasn't really produced a high-level receiver since 13-14. You can count Keon, but he wasn't really developed here.

@@douglastuten5340 the average quality of recruit under Jimbo Fisher dwarfs what Norvell has brought in, those receivers were higher quality recruits than what we have on this roster save for Hakeem who is only in yr 2, Kenny, Rashad and KB were at least 3rd yr guys

Why do we have coaches as recruiters at all? Player development and used car sales are very different skill sets. At this point might as well bring in former players like Warrick Dunn / Peter warrick types to recruit their respective positions and leave the coaching to the coaches.

I don't disagree, but that's the rules. It would be nice to move to an NFL model and have a GM with a staff that handles all that so coaches can just coach.

I’m curious though, are nil payments restricted to only players? Give Dunn 500k nil and have him be an “volunteer” analyst that is permanently on the trail.

Amen to that! 😅 NIL is for players only, but now that analysts can coach, you can basically have an unlimited staff. Just depends on the budget and if they want to come coach.

@@plantthespeargood luck enforcing payment for use of name image and likeness of a public figure when payments are not even coming from the institution. Don’t even run it through the collective. But mikes not a killer, so this is a pipe dream lol.

Look as a former WR, catching the ball is a skill set either you can or you can't. You can't develop that. These WR are just bad... It hurts my heart to watch this.
