Michael Saldivar same head director for 30 years, and assistant director has been involved as a student then grad then faculty for nearly that long without much break. They do have a new 3rd director but I don’t think he was there in 2018. I would say the chiefs have been willing to try new and different things since about 2009 when they had every wind player dance the Thriller on the field, and the next year when they wore costumes (on Halloween? or for a special theme show, don’t remember) on the field instead of the traditional uniform.
@@blakeeastman4769Our old one is arranged by "W. Shaw" but we got a new arrangement by "Chandler L. Wilson." I think our newer version is the same one that the play in this video. Just realized that that's the same guy who posted this video so yeah lol
