What can you say about Frank? I showed my husband the video of the race through the kitchen. He asked me if that behavior looked familiar. Our chocolate lab practically vibrated with energy right up until she died at age 11. Enjoy him. I love your thief series, especially the bear.

Hi thee! And thanks for popping by! Touring is tough like any other job but in different ways. The 90 minutes of fun doing the shows is worth the less fun parts for sure! If I use my magnifier and my glasses I can see the tiny counts ok. But it’s not as fun. I was just complaining.😂😂😂

If you can teach yourself specialty stitches watching RU-vid tutorials, you can teach yourself to make a pillow out of that beautiful abandoned project. . Find a fabulous backing fabric and get her done.

It’s good for me to see people doing that, normalizing it. I cant stitch everything and it’s a good reminder to re-evaluate the stitchuation, periodically. Heavens to Betsy Lou what is wrong with me? Did I fall sleep during Ellen Reid’s last floss tube? I was watching Brenda and Laura and Laura was talking about starting Ann Webb and then talked about the linen Ellen was using and oh my gravy, pause the duo go to Maximum Cross Stitch, fast forward and sheesh Louise the linen is perfect. How how how did I miss that??? I’ve been wanting to start that forever and 20 days and kept putting it off. So how did I miss that??? Linen is ordered. So a start will be happening (will use DMC which I have purchased because well my budget laughs at silks). I just just mad at myself for totally missing that while watching you. How can I ever be wife of the week if I don’t pay attention? Oh wait that is only for floss tubers. Maybe some day I’ll not be scared to do that. Floss tube that is. And be able to figure out how to film and upload. I promise to pay more attention next time if you promise not to wait so long to record.

Your three queens are gorgeous, but having just finished Mabel Tuke with a zillion queen stitches on 40ct (and still working on Ann Morison's zillion eyelets also on 40ct), I can't face anymore of them for a while. I was hoping you'd mention your organization of the lovely spools (100.3??) behind you - they look so good!! ❤

Oh yay! So glad you’re doing the stitch a long!! My 100.3 spools are stored in acrylic lipstick organizers that I bought from Amazon. I might have to get more! I probably shouldn’t have them out where they can get dusty but I love seeing them.🤷‍♀️ Oh yes take a break from the eyelets! After doing 164 on Anne Bolyne I was in need of a break! I love doing them though. They really do add to a piece. Happy stitching!!❤️

Most definitely make some smalls with both the MFE and the HAED projects. Don't waste your beautiful stitching. Dang Ellen that Sarah Braizear is totally a BAP. Eeeesh. I would not have the courage. But I have seen several people stitching this. I love that you love the Prairie Schooler village. Yes, please design one because I've never stitched a village, although I am attracted to them. but I'll bet yours would be totally cool. Yea, I know about the cost of hotels. I had to stay in three this summer and we're not talking super duper hotels but nice ones and holy freakin' moly they were likely to put me in the poor house. So I hear ya. Yes, Ellen, we so care. You are a wonderful, talented - in more ways than one- kind caring person so yes, come back sooner than 6 months. xoxoxo

I saw your queens the minute your flosstube opened and I was wondering about them - so glad to find out it is available. Way to go - I am ok with specialty stitches because a lot of those you do on canvaswork. That HAED - if you put it on stretcher bars and on a stand - you would not have to hold onto it that cramps your hands. It would take some getting used to, but it could work. I will be at Jacob Palooza week 1 - Hope to be able to meet you and shake your hand in appreciation of all your designs.

The Thieves! Gahhh! 😍😍😍. Yes, MORE! More!! Encore! I just recently abandoned the 2021 MFE as well… boomp bommm. I will cut off what I finished and incorporate it into a project bag 🤷🏽‍♂️. Alls well that ends well. Those goats on Ann Webb are calling to me 🐐 So many fun projects!

Aw thanks! They are fun to stitch for sure I feel some relief at abandoning those projects. I suppose it makes room for MORE NEW STARTS! 😂😂😂😂

Hey you! It's your "bit". 🦦Have you seen Sheena Rogers' little pillows of the 6 wives? On Etsy. So cute. Also, I have the perfect fabric to stitch your little petit point coin purse on - its a cotton pillow slip with a super fine Hardinger in the middle. It would be perfect and so ladylike. Man - Frank has got the major zoomies .... I think you should bring him to Jacobpalooza and just let the chaos reign! I'll see you there the first week too and we can do "bit on the side" stuff. We should gather all your "wives" and "bits" and do a group picture.😘I the meantime, I'm going to get started on The Honey Theif. See you in October!
