FT Spear FPV Wing - Timelapse Build

Did a timelapse build on the FT Spear. Tried to include as much as possible. I ended up not filming the electronics setup or paint/decals on this one. Just wanted to get it done lol. I can do an overview on my setup as well as some flight footage if you guys have any interest.

There's something oddly satisfying about flying a wing made from foamboard. It also flies very stable. Hope you build one!

Love the Spear. My first FPV plane was a Versa which was hard to get setup just right. The spear solved all of those problems. I built one at FF several years ago and bought a second kit for when i shredded it. Original still flies great and the kit it still wrapped up.

Nice! Yeah I’ve tried a handful of FT wings. The Mini Arrrow is really fun but limited on space for battery and fpv gear. The versa wing was ok. I made a blunt nose conversion for that but still didn’t love it was kinda heavy for its size. Like you said, the Spear seems to solve all the issues for a good foamboard fpv wing. Flies great and can fit all your electronics with ease.

Построил по чертежам FT Versa Wing с доработкой тупого носа, материал- подложка под паркет и ламинат. I built the FT Versa Wing according to the drawings with the modification of the blunt nose, the material is a substrate for parquet and laminate.
