In todays video we discuss a nw Ban that the FTC has passed on non compete disclosures.
A Non Compete disclosure prohibits someone from working with the another company within the same industry. As this may not be the case for some creators, these are and have often been red flags in contracts as they limit your ability to work with other brands in the same niche.
I once was approached by a well known Yoni Care company and was asked to sign a non compete that would last 3 months. at the time, I was working with small businesses in the same niche and declined as they were not limiting what I could do for others.
This means that you have more control over your income as a creator.
Its important to know what happens on the business end of this and how to protect yourself.
