That was great! This needs to be a feature length movie. Even better, would be a mini-series for television or internet. This event in the future of mankind is the thing I dream about and yearn to see before I die. Great job to everyone. I see that comments are disabled for the actual video, so I'll put it here.
"Sometimes the greatest acts of love are the hardest acts to commit." - Solace But when professionalism, passion and fun are present at work in the implementation and a collective moves and thinks in the same field, then every effort becomes a 'flow of ease' (it swings) and the result - a masterpiece! This short film had a very impressive and emotional effect on me. Thank you, that the story has been translated into the R4-Dimension and has an 'existence'. ♥ ❤ ❥ ❣
damn man the scene of the Matrioshka Ring world left me breathless... doing your first FTL and finding an species infinite close to Kardashev 1 would be fucking epic.
I tell you this was probably one of the greatest Mini films I've ever seen in the space genre definitely would has a lot of potential to become a real full-fledged movie I can definitely see a good writing on this the interesting probably somewhere near next to the arrival
Man, what a nice technology in this movie... I don't understand how he reached the light speed and after he arrived close to Mars he still got a good and speed communication via radio with the Earth... That's awesome!!!!
Watched this trailer AND the short film! Both AMAZING!! But now that you teased me with these appetizer, I want a complete 2hrs movie!!! PLEASE PLEASE make it so!!! :) Thank you in advance!
I just saw your film, it was awesome! I love it! The story is very touching and poetic! Everything here is top notch: acting, writing, direction, and production values! I thought I recognized Ty Olsson from his role as Aaron Kelly in Galactica and as Vultan in the Sy Fy Channel's Flash Gordon remake tv show! LOL! This is more in tuned to the spirit of Star Trek than Star Trek: Discovery! There are some questions that need to be answered. Who are those aliens? What are they called? Where do they come from? Why did they save Kane? What was their motive for doing so? And what happened to the Longshot? I want a sequel! NOW!!!! :)
That was nice, although the whole "family" thing was kinda tacky, IMO. Astronaut was gone for like five minutes, yet the wife starts sobbing and hugging him as if he was gone for several months.
In the larger (read: bigger budget) version, the entire world is watching. So we felt this was the easiest way to try and convey that for the short. Thanks for watching!
