I don't think I've ever left a comment on one of your vids. Thank you so much for continuing these video updates. I smiled SO much when I saw your face all scruffy. I recognized you immediately. I watched all your videos about a year ago when I was battling with whether or not I wanted to start T. I wanted to microdose and there weren't a lot of examples of people going on lower doses. Your videos are so sweet and genuine it really alleviated so much anxiety for me. I did go on T for about ten months and probably will go on and off in the future.

Also, for about the same cost, there's a doctor in the US - Dr. Kenneth Wolff in Michigan who is the most affordable surgeon people go to here who don't have insurance, which he doesn't take. Unless he's gone up since I last checked he's $5900 US which is, today, 4956 euros. So, for the plane fare and a motel to stay in, it would probably come out about the same. It's a relatively low cost area compared to bigger urban areas in the US so I imagine you could get a place to stay pretty affordably. I'm sure so many people go there from out of town that he would have information on things like places to stay. It seems everyone who goes to him is happy and it should be easy to see his results on-line. Clearly, it would take more arranging. I know there's also the concern of someone to help during recovery. I basicly took care of myself but it is nice if you have someone to help. I'm betting you could hire someone from the local trans community and probably would find people to help out for free. I'd help if I lived there. Anyway, just thought I'd mention it since it is an option. Btw: if you haven't, check out transbucket.com. It's a place people can upload trans surgery results and I believe it's not just the US.

@@flyingsquirrel965 I don't want to say anything that minimizes anyone else's difficulties.I'm 61 years old. I've been alone the majority of my life and have had to take care of myself through harder things. I took it very seriously when I kept reading about how important it was to have someone else taking care of one, and I couldn't find a single thing I couldn't do for myself or get a single such answer from anyone. I think the biggest issue is emotional and emotions are real. I knew I would be depressed. That level of inactivity, I knew, would leave me depressed. I'm guessing you will experience that. If you work out all the time and then stop, there's that hormone thing that happens - a decrease in endorphins or something like that will affect your emotions even if you never experience depression otherwise, and without remembering if you ever had a problem with depression, I've rarely met a trans person who hasn't. On top of that, depression can be an after-effect of anaesthesia. Knowing ahead of time I would experience that, made it easier. So, I think, knowing someone is there to care for you can help with the emotional experience. I could have lined up help if I'd been more motivated to. I had the idea that I wanted one visitor a day during the first week, even if just for an hour, who would be available to do simple things or run an errand if I needed something. I had offers but in the end, only one person came through. I felt really down about that - that I'd have had to recruit people I didn't know, that I didn't have people who cared enough to do that, but really, I did, if I'd put it out way ahead of time, just nobody in my general area. It's just so easy for me to fall into depression with no way to work it out physically. So, anyway, that's what I think is the biggest thing having someone does, which is a good enough reason. Also, I live in a city with a lot of resources and the nearest emergency room two blocks away, and where it might take me twenty minutes at most to get to my surgeon in a taxi. And I had a surgeon who told me she was available any time of day or night if I called her service, if something was wrong. So, I didn't feel like I was really alone, if something went wrong. Also, I had people I could reach out to on-line, just to talk, trans people who would understand and I made use of that a bit. That was bigger than anything anyone could have helped with in-person. I kcan make a lot of recovery suggestions, whether or not you have someone. I love sharing that but it will be long. I will share it another time. I did all sorts of things I thought might seem ridiculous, and nothing I did to prepare was wasted effort. So, I'll write it up. Or drop a note via messenger and I'll answer any questions that I can. I'm the only person with my name anywhere so I'm easy to find.

I bet the higher cost for the first surgeon is because of what I'll call body masculinization because different surgeons who do it call it different names. Usually that's considered a seperate procedure at another significant charge, so if you want that, you're getting a good dealfrom that guy. If you don't want it, maybe ask if the cost would be less without it.

That's a good point. I never knew it was an option but now that I do...arrrgh I want it, and I'm all up in my head about why, y'know? Like is that crossing the line to where plastic surgery for esthetics stars??

Yeah that makes sense. Also they factor in a shitton of post op care, you're supposed to come on every day for the first 10 days. The surgeon I talk about in this video hardly wants to see you at all. Send pictures is all he said.

You could look up dr Lubomir Lembas results, he is from Poland, he is a great surgeon, and quite cheap if you dont live on polish wage lol (current price is smth like 3700 EU). He perform a lot of surgeries on foreign patients. Unfortunetly he has a long waiting list, but other than that he is great.

Oh my goodness!!! I just woke up to this message (8:25 on a Sunday - going to work today) and just oh wow, I can't describe how much this means. To know that I AM getting the surgery, that it's actually going to happen and so soon... Joy and terror and more joy. When I dream nowadays I already have a flat chest in my dreams. Does this begin to describe how deep this runs? Thank you. I'd hug you if I could.

Interestingly, I know a lot of people come to your page curious about the low-dose T and whether or not to go further like you did.I’m one of those who went on a low-dose and never changed it. I still appear female, nobody thinks anything other and I feel absolutely fantastic and I’m quite satisfied! Everybody is different and it’s OK!

That's something I never thought about setting out. I went on low dose out of cowardice, I wanted to take t and push the "woman" category as far as it can go to see if I could possibly be at peace with my body without fully transitioning. Now these amazing stories are told to me by people saying I was brave and that I helped them set out on their own journey. I never thought I was mappings out new territory. I'm so deeply moved by this, because it gives value to something I often feel points to a character flaw in me - like how did it take me so long to figure this shit out right? And then it turns out because I did, others are able to see themselves in the way there and are helped. Enormously meaningful.
