FTX DR8 New Tires 

The DR8 is a fantastic RC, fast as hell & durable too.! Super stable & just a blast to drive.! I've owned mine for nearly 3 years now & it's still one of my favorite RCs. I've also had 72mph out of it.! 😉 😉

I would try not to destroy a baseball diamond with that thing! 😂 excellent place to test your skill and run in the off season! I also jump over the pitchers mound.

The DR8 also works well with Talion wheels/tires on.

hi, i use badland 2.8 or jetcko tomahawk for my dr8, great car and french options , skid...shock, and backflip with badland !

I'm running JConcepts paddles on mine because I run it on the sand. It's the most fun I've had with a buggy on the beach. Especially the wet sand, it rips!

Thinking of doing an arrma typhon build with mojave arms and wheels also thinking a proline megaladon body or some sorts of body

A friend of mine and I, we own the Reely Raptor6s version(sold under this name in Germany) of this truck. I dont know if the tire compound is different here, but they actually performed very good so that we ended up buying more pairs and run them on the Arrma Mojave. Much cheaper than dboots and a very good alternative. Edit: its absolutely possible that they produce the tires in different compounds as the Tank also has that body, you confirmed being lexan, while its counterpart in Germany is made of pvc, although they look 100% identical.

When you say underpowered what battery combo were you using? With 3S or 4S you need to gear up to get near the rated speed but if you use 6S or 2 x 3S it's most definitely not underpowered even with the 12T pinion. I've got two 3S 5000mah 80C in mine and it struggles for grip on most surfaces on stock tyres due to the power. Once it finds grip it's doing 50mph+ on grass.

I think it’s at the point you should consider showing your RC room or just build a new wing on your house.
