Changed pinion to 16t.

Thanks Paul this truck is lovely, I will be taking her out soon hopefully next week or so. that’s how I was at first and the more videos I watched, eventually I just got one lol. I just fitted my red metal rear swing arm bracket. Did anybody else find that the holes don’t ‘quite’ match up with the originals? The two long bolts that go through the diff casing had to be tapped in with a hammer, the holes definitely do not align perfectly, but only very slightly. Also I’m pretty sure the spacing between the swing arm pin holes seems slightly wider, so it’s going to create a little bit of ‘toe in’ on the rear. To be honest that’s ok with me. I imagine if you replace the bracket at the front of the diff as well the spacing will match and there wouldn’t be any toe in. Over all I’m happy if it’s stronger and doesn’t break but for £13 I’d expect something to be manufactured to tighter tolerances.

Could be manufacture fault hence why it don’t fit . My one fit fine . I didn’t take much notice of that rear toe in Il have a look . Overall this car is a tank and a half love this dr8 one of my strongest 😎👊 thanks for the comment appreciate it bro

Hi mate appreciate you watching my video. I used an old Arrma 6s wheelie bar& back wing try checking on modelsport.co.uk or sometimes eBay have some . It’s originally from a Arrma notorious 6s, wing and wheelie bar bro hope that helped 😎

@Adrenaline Ash RC hi I'm having trouble removing the pins out of the hubs because I went to put the 30mm extension on how did you remove your pins there stuck on wait to I hear back from you bud

@@Moggmodels23 so where your nut goes on, in the middle there is a grub screw . If you can’t take it off try applying heat to it and boom the pin will come loose then the whole hub comes off . Let me know how you get on bro 😎

Did you ever have any problems with the pinion gear coming loose? I've got a 15T pinion on mine & it keeps coming loose even with blue loctite

No I’m using 16t Robinson racing pinionand it’s running perfectly fine. Bare in mind lock tight don’t actually work until 24hours has passed give it two days and it should work . 😎👍

Hey man, i want to install wheel extenders on this car but how do you remove the stock ones? they won't come off

Where your wheel nut goes on in the centre there is a grub screw , you will need a 2.5mm hex driver to loosen it and then the pin on the extension will pop out and you should be able to get it off easy, If your still finding it hard to take screw off make sure to add heat to help the lock tight come off as they come lock tight from factory. Hope that helps bro 😎

I will never understand that fascination with the hub extensions.....making all cars wider, no matter how wide they already are and calling this an upgrade then is a total mystery for me.

If you own a dr8 then you will know bro . Extensions give it that extra stability while turning,also prevents it from flipping easily. With extra wide hubs my dr8 runs perfect now doesn’t flip on its side as before . It’s all Down to preferences mate it’s how you drive and want it .

@@none-qq9lg you should check the size of your motor and see what heat sink will fit, the one I got Its not there anymore .
