I have one. I tried to male it brushless 10.5 V3 rocket motor/quicrun 10bl120 esc, but the car will go backwards at maximum power when I pull the trigger backwards and will go forward at minimum power when I pull the trigger forward. What combo are you using?
@@SunnySunny-wj3li Sounds like you need to program the esc to reverse mode on the motor or try resetting the esc and re doing the throttle with it set to reverse. I ran a hobbywing xr8sct combo with 4700kv motor and 32-23 negative gearing, you can see the videos for the build thread with all the pics and technical data. Thanks drive safe!
Hey Dan, you want to get a 2-3s Brushless system and change the spur and pinion to something more suitable for speed as the ones standard are for drifting/acceleration. Hope this helps 👍
Is this running the stock pinion and spur ? I will be putting a 3s brushless combo in my son's soon and using yours as a guide will help me decide how to gear it.
