I love these guys. I had the pleasure of seeing them last year the Irving Plaza. I forget what date. I will have to look for the tickets tomorrow and post but it was a great show.
That's a Masterpiece. it's never been done. Original - no music vid has come out b4 that's filmed like that. As the music itself, it's unique, soul SOUL SOUL and sharp riffs. Your song changed my life. . . this is the second time hearing it and the first seeing the video
Fucked Up represents everything good about music. Community, independent production and distribution, constantly playing live for less than $30 a ticket, raw recordings (very little effects and studio wizardry), brilliant and high energy live show etc.. I like Mumford and Sons too but don't be a hater because Fucked Up are brilliant :)
Saw them in Perth several hours ago, did an amazing job. That lead singer is hilarious to watch, so entertaining. They followed Calling All Cars, opening for Tenacious D and Foo Fighters.
I find New Zealanders and Canadians are like minded in some way. They both seem quiet in a polite way, yet they both out Insanely good bands. I'm fairly international but Fucked up are new to me.I force strangers to sit and watch this... ed

just saw'em today in the house of vans in México with wavved and anti-flag, and some great local bands, it was a free gig and it was perfect, i love the music of this guys and this vídeo it's beautiful
This band are one of the most refreshing and invigorating acts in recent memory. Haters.... great you have your opinion, but stick your head up your own ignorance. This band are brilliant in every single way. Now... let us enjoy. Gratis.
This video is fucking beautiful. Who cares if you "can't hear a single word"? Who else gets a choir of kids to sing their song? Just shut the fuck up, and enjoy it.

You know, I am a fan of Fucked Up, but not so much a fan of Mumford and Sons, but six months later when I look at this comment about them losing without a reference to what it is, it makes me realize it music isn't a winner takes all game. MaS and FU win different awards, MaS has topped the Billboard 200 and Triple J 100, they each have won their own awards and accolades.
My father showed me this song a long time ago, when I became homeless he and I stopped talking to each other after he called me a few things. Now I can't help but listen and remember him sitting next to me crying, telling me he loves me... such a crock of shit...
I agree, the vocals are actually what first appealed to me about this band, along with the guitars which are different from the average punk sound, its like a mashup of vintage punk and melodic rock with an indie sensibility, I have never heard a current band like Fucked Up before, now I'm hooked, this band has acclaim but unfortunately they've gone under the radar before they could have any mainstream success, but then again more exposure could fuck them up lol
