Enjoy! My favorites from the haul are the Fude Japan M, Kyureido Face, and B142 but everyone’s different so go for what speaks to you :) Black rectangles are for privacy. To be clear, in the last section I did not use the three ND cheek products with the Chikuhodo brushes, only with the Nars blush I placed on top.

Great comparison. I bought the Kyureido face brush through FudeJapan 4 years ago because I really liked the shape of the Suqqu face in Selfridges but hated how airy and loose it was. My Kyureido is much denser than the Suqqu FWIW.

Great review! I may have missed this but what type of hair are the Fude Japan brushes made? Are they less dense than Chikhuhodo Z series?

@T GATHRI Thank you! They're gray squirrel. The FJ cheek brush is less dense than the cheek brushes from the Z line. The eye brushes have more hair at the top compared to the Z-10 since they're rounded. Love stubby round eye brushes!

Great haul, loved your comparision on the face brush to the Suqqu one, in fact im waiting for my Suqqu face brush that i got off Mercari for a littlle cheaper than Harrods, im so excited!!! Been wanting it for years and i knew that its very comparable to the Z1 but their slight differences in size and shape and that its supposedly slightly softer made me go for the suqqu one as i have sensitive skin due to retin A, im just ready to retire my MAC 150 as is so scratchy on my skin, i would use the Suqqu only for lightly setting loose powder using patting and swiping motion.

Fude Kyun omg ok i just received my Suqqu face brush, but on the handle have in very small letters the word china, i bought it off Mercari and was posted as brand new, unused and it came in its plastic envelope but no box as i have seen on other hauls, the brush smells very lightly like animal hair and its very soft and the bristles are tightly packed together as it was in a brush guard, pleas answer 🙏🏼

@Karla Tamez Mine is older and has nothing on the handle for where it's made. Is it the $166 one? If it is, it looks fake. I could tell by looking at the ferrule, handle, and font combination. The handle should be more narrow on the bottom and there should also be a gap in between the ferrule and handle. Compare it to the Suqqu face stock photo from Harrod's and my video and you'll see too. I would report it to the app and return it. I'm sorry this happened to you! If you still really want the Suqqu face after all this but at a discount, I recommend signing up for Harrod's rewards program and waiting for when they send out an email for 10% off. It applies to Suqqu and the current exchange rate is more favorable for USD compared to when I bought mine several years ago. If it's too expensive, I would just get the Z-1 from CDJapan (tax-free). Fude Kyun thankyou so much for responding, yes, that’s the one i bought🤦🏻‍♀️i truly hope i don’t have any issues returning it, i will send it today if possible, do i need to get into an argument with the seller or just inform to Mercari my reasons and return it right away?

@Karla Tamez You're welcome! I included another section on the bottom of my previous response as well for purchasing the authentic too. I don't think you need to contact the seller based off what I've read for Mercari. You just report the issue within three days and the app is supposed to work with you. I'm not entirely sure how the process works but hopefully they'll accept your reason and let you return it. Wait until the company responds to you before sending it back!

Great video! Looking to place my first fude order and your videos have been very helpful. What do you think about the Koyudo Purin fpr-001 and fpr-002 for pressed mineral foundation? The first looks like it splays a lot but the blush brush looks a bit small.

@g 954 Thanks! I don't own any pressed mineral foundation or the FPr001 so I can't exactly tell you if they'll work for it but it wouldn't hurt to try. The head on the Purin FPr002 doesn't splay out a lot but I do keep it in a brush guard. I think the FPR001 shouldn't splay out a lot either. I think either would work great with pressed powder. Good luck!

Hello, I love your videos, they are very detailed. Which blush & powder brush would you recommend (I know is a personal prefference) the suqqu ones or the kyureido? I had read that kyureido ones could be a duppe from suqqu ones. The price in this case is not decisive because in Spain they do not sell any and with taxes and shipping the price is similar. @Rocio Madrid Hello! Thank you for your kind words. I actually prefer the Fude Japan/Kyureido cheek and Kyureido powder brushes since the cheek brushes blend better and the Kyureido powder brush feels airier on the face. I also like to use the Suqqu face for blush after I've put it in a brush guard to keep the taper :)

@Rocio Madrid You're welcome! Keep in mind every brush is bundled differently and I think most Suqqu face brushes are airy except for mine so either Kyureido and Suqqu powder brushes would be a great addition. If you like the sparkly handles, get Kyureido but if you've been wanting Suqqu for a long time I would say to just get those since the prices aren't that different for you. The hair tips on my Suqqu face are not curly like the Kyureido face. Good luck!

@@FudeKyun Thank you! Yes, I am aware that each brush is unique and the characteristics may change slightly. I have the entire Chickhodo Z collection and I love them. I do little makeup and I like a smooth Finish. I also have Koyudo BP022, love it for light blushes, and I bought BP018 & BP.09 at CDjapan when I saw your video and let us know that there was still something in stock. From the comments that I had read the brushes of suqqu were a bit more airy so I wanted to try them, I read in a post the same about the kyureido, since I can not touch them, I have to get a mental idea to say it in some way, I do not go brand preferences, if the value for money is similar.

Have you try Houkodou face brushes? It has very affordable prices for grey squirrel brushes, but I don't know if they are of an inferior quality. Thanks a lot.
