We discussed various treatment options with Alex including FUE hair transplant surgery and alternative such as FUT hair transplant surgery. Here are the details of Alex first hair transplant surgery.
One of the critical aspects to achieve a high density result is to keep the treatment area small. Resist the temptation to lower the hairline too much; by keeping the hairline a little higher, the area is a little smaller: You're on course to achieve a good high density result.
Alex has got a wide treatment area we decided to do a stepwise approach to treat the frontal area first, before we look after other areas the benefit of this stepwise approach is that we can achieve a higher density a good looking result in one single treatment. We will have the options to have further treatment to improve other areas. Compared to traditional approach to spread the grafts over a wider area, which is not going to achieve the same type of result in one single treatment.
When I saw Alex for his one year follow-up, this is how his hair looks. The frontal area has successfully achieved a good visual Improvement.
