I keep reading this and scrolling up to the video and you're very, very right because each time I tried watching, it was buttcheeks. No one needs that in their eyes, man.
I've been a fan for many, many years. I've seen fuel live 15+ times and I've always thought their videos were their weak point. Won't back down would be my only exception. This video takes them in a whole new direction. I like it and the people that don't or say it doesn't fit the song are entitled to their opinions. However, you still can listen to the song and not watch the video! The best thing about music is this... Every single person has their own definition of a song. The way you interpret a song isn't the way I will. You can relate it to your life or experiences or anyway you want. That's the beauty of music! So if you don't like the video, don't watch it! I think it's a great summer song and I personally like the direction of the video. Why do we take life so serious anyways?
SADLY, I guess CANDIRIA fans were hoping FUEL would've crossed-over to Metalcore while FUEL stans were praying for Power-Grunge-Ballads...can't please 'em all -eh? LOL's #BKHC4LIFE lol's
This video feels like a Kid Rock video or a Foo Fighters video, yet I don't see people bashing Kid Rock or Dave Grohl over it, no because Fuel is usually into making a different style of music video, they expect something different, & that is exactly why this video is perfect the way it is, because nobody expected it. Fans need to calm their tits & get over it, they wanted to try something different, & that is fine! Videos like this are exactly what rock & roll is all about, sex, drugs, & lots of partying.
Why thank you, I just hate when people try to make a video out to be bigger than it is, I felt it was a good video, & I felt it stuck to it's roots for rock music along with the visuals, let people have their fun, I mean the videos are for out entertainment, I'm sure this band has enough money to retire if they want to, but they like to entertain the fans, as well as make at least a little money, things like this don't hurt anyone.
HAHA!! Like 5 seconds into this video I also thought of Kid Rock due to the way Brett looks. I agree with your assessment but I would like to say that bands like Foo Fighters and Kid Rock have always had that humorous or comedic side to some of their songs, unlike FUEL, who had a few darker tracks. I'm not disagreeing with you at all, I just wanted to point that out though.
Don't forget though, this incarnation of Fuel, only has Brett at the helm. sooo yes different take but i'm kinda iffy about the direction of the video. but that's just me, because of the professionalism that Brett had when other band members who won't be mentioned here were mudslinging and accusing him of things that had no place on a public forum (their fan site.)
I Can't Wait Wander Video ! ! I think will Be Different, It will BE Better than 2 others videos. The sound (Cold Summer) is very Good but video isn't good enough. I hope better quality in video for next Official video by Fuel, because it's wonderful FUEL
+Antonio Brett Scallions left the band years ago. They replaced him with Toryn Green. Toryn was decent, but it just didn't feel like Fuel anymore. A few years back, Brett started touring with a different band as Fuel. I guess that it what is now Fuel. They sound pretty good, but it isn't the same without Carl Bell and other originals. But it is good to hear Brett. Rock has changed so much the last 15 years. There is no longer room for a large number of good rock bands in today's society. Foo Fighters and Red Hot Chili Peppers are still strong.
Iv'e been a huge Fuel fan for years... This is the first time iv'e seen the film clip to this song, and it seems really strange to me that they would make this the way it is. Don't get me wrong, the babes are smokin', but this just isn't Fuel as I remember it. :(
I DESPERATELY WANT TO PLAY THIS ON GUITAR BUT IM NOT MUSICALLY TALENTED ENOUGH TO FIGURE OUT THE CHORDS. ANY HELP? WOULD WANT TO PLAY IT ACOUSTIC TY I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER.
Filmed at Brett's house in Calabasas - was just there at a party like 6 months ago. Fuckin great guy! That being said I much more wish I was there for the shooting of this video!
LOL was there anybody on here who was watching some old Fuel videos("Bittersweet", "Hemorrhage(In My Hands)", "Innocent", "Bad Day") thinking "these videos are so late 90s/early 2000s" and then watched this video and thought "looks like Brett still lives in the late 90s/early 2000s"? Cuz that's what I was doing hahaha. In all seriousness though, this song is a huge step down from the old Fuel and it makes the band's line-up change very noticeable.
@@brandonjohnson8635 the song and the album puppet strings are excellent. who cares about the video. If Carl bell was so great why did fuel fail so hard when Bret left? Carl is a great song writer. Bret is the face of fuel.
@@bmf00 I believe Brett and Carl need eachother. In my opinion Fuel was not so good when Toryn Green took over vocal duties and Fuel music suffered as a whole when Carl left and Brett took over. I checked out Fuel's 2014 release recently and couldn't get into it. Good to know someone liked it. To each their own.
Honestly , I had a few giggles from this . But I agree that the song felt like it had more meaning ... like someone was missing from Brett's life , or he missed the old summers . But I think they just did this video for the laughs and 'lolz' Just don't watch the music video and you can still interpret it as you want
