Fuel does not like to turn corners. IMO 

What exactly Darin said in his video that fuel Doesn't like turning. You are really a legend!

I guess that’s why my Triumph breathes so good ,it’s a straight shot

Not only does it not like to turn corners, but the more velocity the straighter it will go and the more likely it's to create lean spots.
