Thanks for the helpful video. It was a bit more difficult with a diesel Q5 with the fuel cap and the ad blue cap getting in the way. I managed to do it with a long crowbar, but the space available made it very awkward.

Where did you find the Fuel Door Actuator?

Stupid question but, the door flap frame piece that you took off, what is the actual name for that?

I changed mine on A4 B8, difficult to pull plastic out, you have to use some kind of force, I used a crowbar, which broke a bit of plastic off, but not the main lugs. Why Audi couldn’t use screws I don’t know. Switch very easy to replace, it’s now sorted my alarm fault, that kept going of early hours of the morning..
