Thanks for the helpful video. It was a bit more difficult with a diesel Q5 with the fuel cap and the ad blue cap getting in the way. I managed to do it with a long crowbar, but the space available made it very awkward.
I changed mine on A4 B8, difficult to pull plastic out, you have to use some kind of force, I used a crowbar, which broke a bit of plastic off, but not the main lugs. Why Audi couldn’t use screws I don’t know. Switch very easy to replace, it’s now sorted my alarm fault, that kept going of early hours of the morning..
