Seun Kuti gives his take on the fuel scarcity situation in Nigeria and the fuel price saga between NNPCL and Dangote. #nigeria #dangote #fuel #fuelscarcity #victorosimhen
For me the fact that tinubu and this ruthless ppl r still walking about in Nigeria is not cool. This ppl should have been taken out already but here we r we've not still been able to figure things out
Right now, survival is our priority. Nigerians can no longer afford sporadic protests that achieve little. In fact, these intermittent demonstrations only embolden the government, knowing that after a brief outcry, we fall silent. We're too hungry and divided to sustain any meaningful protest, and these two factors combined will continue to stifle any real agitation for change.
@@Shk8 I really want to say here that long protests will.not be able to hold Most of the protesters cannot afford it . They are daily income people .. So they will suffer the most And they cannot bear it , that is the gospel truth
@@Shk8 I will like to suggest below formular.. We plan 3 days a week for each identified topic riots .. We choose an issue ...and protest 3 straight days on that topic . Massive discussions every where on that topic Massive solutions profarred by us on that topic Tell government what they must do on that topic and that issue .. For the whole of 3 days we have focus on that topic and issue. The people /citizens .must have planned and arranged for their food . Drinks and light for this 3 days .. So they can survive these days without work or market .. Then on the 4th day ..everybody goes back to work and business...4th.5th.6th.7th day... The next week.we choose another topic/issue....we do same on same topic for 3 days .rest again ... On and on and on ..till we finish a 10lpt agenda.. And we start from the begining again.. And if government does not start doing all our profarred suggestions....then what ever they see....they will not say the people didn't try....🤔🤔🤔
@Seun, of course your critiques are sound, and I respect that you confirmed Dangote is cynical with his business ventures. However, from the onset, you’ve castigated the essence or efforts of Dangote concerning this refinery. For example, you had said earlier that you have reliable info that Dangote refinery will not produce anything. Now that it’s producing, you’ve move your castigation. You gotta be firm bro! Now, I’m actually surprised that you examined the refinery production issue vis-a-vis how it affects the common man on the street the way you did - quite skewed. The primary merit of Dangote’s Refinery is to prevent Nigeria from exporting crude and importing refined products. With Dangote, we can save that money and redistribute it. Yes, the merits should trickle down to the common man on the street in Nigeria, but at end of the day, the refinery is a private platform. Nigeria should’ve built/repair her refineries. I like your populist approach, Nigeria needs it. I’m a populist too, but a realistic one.
Gbenga it shall never be well with you and your kids and your next generation to come and if we’re lucky to come across each other and I hear someone call you that name you won’t love your life that day
Seun, I was watching your commentary here regarding the tragic incident involving Ugandan marathon runner Rebecca Cheptegei, who was burned by her boyfriend and sadly passed away. However, I stopped when you mentioned that "African men must do better." While I fully agree that humanity as a whole has much to improve, singling out African men in such a manner on a public platform perpetuates negative stereotypes about Africa. It's crucial to address issues, but please understand that such behavior is not exclusive to Africa. It's a global problem. By narrowing your criticism to African men on an international stage, you risk damaging the image of the continent and diluting your message. If your concern is truly for your people, there are more constructive ways to raise these issues without reinforcing harmful narratives. Let's aim to uplift Africa while addressing challenges, not contribute to its negative portrayal.
Honestly I agree with you bro seun total boycott is the only way only if all Nigerians will this idea . May God save Nigeria from the hands of the wickeds
Thanks seun, in as much that I'm not a religion bigot, here in Nigeria, some Northern sheik and their followers said and believed themselves that Musli-muslim ticket is going to be the most love n most reasonable regim than the previous regim where Christian-Muslim or Muslim-christian tickets used to be. that they will be d saint from God that will remove masses from poverty and implement Sharia law in d country😮😮 ,look, Nigeria remain Nigeria , and a Christian remain a Christian no matter how the hatred, This Muslim -Muslim. ticket has become the worsth regim in d history of Nigeria. people die of hunger and crimes in increase everywhere then where is the muslim-muslim today??? , it is high time Nigerians come together and vote for competend leaders at all cost. We go to the same market, pay same boarding fair, taxi fair,. I never seen a Muslim market or a Christian market here in Nigeria . Illiteracy is on d high in Nigeria especially in d North where the Muslim populations are,!!! As a Nigerian and a Northerner, Nigerians have to put religion politics aside and elect leaders that will hear and listened when they cry. is just bearly one month when Nigerians stage a protest against Hunger , insecurity etc , but this Government still increase fuel price where by it will throw more millions of Nigerians into more depression again!!!? Why Muslim -Muslim!!! why the sectionalism!!! why the regionalism!!???? Nigerians wake up. My last call will be to The Malams , sheiks , Ulamas that they should stop promoting religious politics in Nigeria and d north. Now that the country is on fire, the shieck are quite , once campaign state, they will resurface again. May God help Nigerians Amen.
Has the devaluation of the naira stopped since you have been listen to Seun kuti for 4 yrs now and counting? 😂😂😂😂! I can tell you, coz you don’t invest, but buy the products I invest in, eg this RU-vid, instagram, Apple etc! Have save me from devaluation of the naira as well as increased my wealth! So thanks to your ignorance, I’m richer 😂😂😂
@TisiAn doesn't change the fact that you spend a devalued currency, while your wealth keeps decreasing with inflation 😂😂😂😂 Good English composure, sadly I'm African and Nigerian, so English not really our thing 😂😂😂😂
@@adebayokehindeHow can you have only 4 views on RU-vid after posting a video 3 years ago and your here saying another person is delulu , no go think of how to improve your content
@E.M.Favour mumu, I'm not in Nigeria jobless. Where by RU-vid will be my source of income. 😂😂 I hear say dollar increase again. With fuel and everything else. While me I dey country way inflation rate na 2.5%, jobs they, credit assistance they. Light dey. No oppression etc 😂😂😂 better go and think of how you will get stable light
Nobody see this coming all we saw was emilokan now una eyes don open, see tribalism we keep moving us backwards, the John u know today may be the Judas of tomorrow,we are facing it now.
Bro we all know the best business in Nigeria is refining oil given we don't have a functioning one for decades. Everyone wanted in but once again Dangote Won. No be juju be that
Everyone of you that vote for Tinubu go chop breakfast, seun Kuti was busy attacking Peter obi and now his attacking dangote and NNPC, what of the president that control everything. 😊
They asked him am sure it was Channel or Arise. He said he was waiting for the government to give price that he can’t just call a price that the government and other people will settle to debate on the price
I watched news central yesterday they ask him that how much is he selling the petrol he said not until tinubu gave him price that he can't say anything for now
During election he was attacking Peter obi and now his expecting fuel to be cheap how. I am a Yoruba man but I know that this man will destroy this country
Just wasting the data of his followers. If dagote is the problem, please go and buy up the refinery and help Nigerians. And if white men are the problem, please stop leaving abroad and stay in Nigeria. Every now and then, you travel out to Europe . What stops you from staying in Togo or Sudan. Noise all the time because talk is cheap. Abegi!
@@Folashade-anwill you stop this your stupidity of going over everyone’s comment asking then who they vote for, Are you so illiterate and unreasonable at all, can’t you think on your own existence premises?
😂😂😂😂😂😂! I’m so so happy as you all complain on a company I own (RU-vid/ alphabet stock) yall currency has been on a downfall as well as products on inflation 😂😂😂! Thank you all ooo! Una ignorance continues to make me rich without lifting a finger! The white man you complain about makes me money 😂😂😂 God is good! Knowledge has freed me and given me power and confidence
One thing i don't like as a Yoruba man, is that seun kuti can never open his mouth to condemn this Tinubu administration, that is the life of a yoruba people hypocrisy..
How many of his videos have you watched, he criticized all of these stupid politicians and elites, but what he does more is to elevate our consciousness and encourage us to rise up against this system and take power from these wicked people. If he stand with Tinubu, will he be encouraging us to take power away from this people including Tinubu. I hope you get it now.
@@streamskick9939 my brother what was his roll during election, I know Kuti very well and I watch all his video during election?? What roll did he play and who did he vote for?
@@Folashade-anwho did he vote for? Is it even anybody's business to tell you the candidate he chooses. And for you to have watched his videos, am sure u missed when he said he's the interim chairman of MOP, which means he can't vote for any of the political party. And when he was asked if it happens he can vote, he did not choose any of the so called Big 3 parties. He said he would have preferred Sowore. His words his choice. It's like u so obsessed with Tinubus name.
I always say, If one will be selective on who to tell truth to, then its not wholistic. Somebody took mandate and is making wrong policies with it, that is affecting all. Seun will rather be general about the truth, but will rather choose to call others like atiku nd obi who don't have any mandate on videos, but never hav I seen him call tinubu to his face about the wrong policies he takes and hw he is plunging Nigeria into deep Into the ground. Its really a pity. And we want to speak truth, I just leff,
@@Folashade-an Bro please keep mute for a while and listen more. You claim to know him but you are not, he never supported any of them not even Peter Obi.
Seun, your populist policies are good. But unfortunately the middle class, which you always complained about right from time, will make sure, your suggestions as a way out dont see the light of the day.
Building Research Establishment (BRE). The culprits of Grenfell Tower inferno, had to negotiate immunity from prosecution to give evidence to the enquiry or be cross examined. Some of the big manufacturers set up “Non Disclosure” Gagging agreements set up for their staff, to prevent whistle blowing. Then they withdrew some of their questionable products and introduced new ones. Meaning with the new products they cornered the market on products that will comply with new stricter regulations. Thus leaving smaller players with consignment of useless flammable or combustible insulation materialists. Lastly, putting more legal responsibility on registered professionals to gate keep the new regulations. The big. Manufacturers, who are part of international western conglomerates are still cashing in.
Nothing to do with Obasanjo. Life was a lot easier under Obasanjo. Since 1999 he is still the best president till date. All you Batidiots like to blame everyone except yourself n Thievenubu
Seun, your analysis is sound...but the boycot cannot work because of the law of demand/supply....nothing beats the market forces....there has to be another way.
During election this guy was attacking Peter obi, so was he expecting change from Tinubu?? I am a Yoruba man and we cannot be doing the same thing and we dey expect change
