Valid question, Nigeria is in for a lonnnnnng walk in energy issues unfortunately. The cabals eating from the myriads of problem Nigeria has will never easily let go. Except there is the political will to tackle the evil cabals.

The answer to your question is to get rid of the NNPC and reform new one. They have nothing good in their records to show Nigeria. They are the ones slowing down your economy and your President doesn't even intervene and question these people.

Nigeria, a country so blessed with Crude, yet, we can not have fuel constantly, not to talk of getting it at a reduced rate. How did we get here?😢

9:09 thank you for clarifying this point. When I say it people talk about willing buyer, willing seller. nUPRC MUST provide for local n refinery needs. This is why Dangote says NUPRC must comply with PIA

The NNPC or NNPCl is preparing death penalty for the harmless Nigerians. This body has no control, it has become uncontrollable for the FGN. This is sleazy. I weep today because Nigeria is in the doldrums.

Accountability to who, when NNPCL is a government of its own and not answerable to anybody even FG of sale of crude in Naira to local refineries because of their selfish in importation, giving Nigerians unbelievable consumption.

Don't wanna say this country is doomed but mehn Nigeria is in for it...we can't keep going on like things are okay...the orientation of business as usual gatta change... I mean, that MD of NNPC sees fuel scarcity right opposite his office everyday and still acts like everything is okay...Shameful... Why can't the leaders just do the right thing??? Enough is enough... If ppl are not fit for the job, they should resign or their oga should change them...

Why not borow the 2b from Dangote, let Dangote take a loan against his refinery and reloan it to the government. That way Dangote secures supply and the FG gets the money they need.
@abdulkadirmohammed770
@abdulkadirmohammed770 24 дня назад
Why will Dangote do that when NNPCL/FG could not fulfilled their own previous agreement.
@4u4000
@4u4000 24 дня назад
Why would Dangote assume that risk on behalf of this irresponsible govt. ?
@samsonadet763
@samsonadet763 23 дня назад
The people giving the loan are doing it for the sake of their own refineries. It isn't about Dangote "saving" anybody. He needs to take contractual positions to further secure his feed stock which is what these foreign companies are doing with these crude oil backed loans. He must recognise that soon he won't be the only big refinery in Nigeria so he can't rely on DSO alone.

The rate at which we speak English language in Nigeria is another source to our problems. The petrol issue concerns all the Nigerians, but on TV conversations, only a few numbers of the population will understand what conversations are all about. We speak English language than English. For sake of clarity, peace, and understanding, why not speak our land as others. African think about this.

Nnpc is the reason why we are all in this mess. Nnpc as currently structured is not a serious organisation. Enough of talks. We are all victims of nnpcs I effectiveness. When you buy fuel in Nigeria it burns like crazy cos of high sulphur content. Again Nnpc is a culpable.
@chukwumakennedy5014

Where do we go from here? We have crude oil in abundance in the ground. Stop oil theft and drill more. Nigeria should not do less than 3 million barrels per day . Dangote is waiting on NNPC to do the needful.

NNPC leadership is simply not competent or patriotic enough. Nigeria should not be where it is today if we all have been serious abount natiinal planning. The idea that you can build a working ecinomy on sentiments and bravada is not only a negatist idea, it is share incompetence. If someone says i can fix a problem in few months and many years down the line he couldn't do it, the shame of not being able to deliver should have put that person to shame and make he or she to resign.

Fuel scarcity is a regular news in Liegeria for the past 30 years. Its very shameful. Say everything you want Liegeria is gone. I Think people should start waking up to this reality and stop expecting the government to do anything useful to help reduce the suffering of the people.
