Walked over those dunes many a time on a day trip from Lanza. It’s a stunning beach, very much like the beaches in Jamaica, Mexico etc. It’s just Corralejo itself that I’m not too fussed on, I prefer the vibe and layout of PDC.
It’s a tough one of what we prefer and I guess if everywhere was the same it wouldn’t be unique .. will definitely do a balcony banter on the subject at the end of this stay here xx
I love the artists house and swimming at Grandes Playas. The drinks were expensive in the little bar, blimey!! We always take a flask when we go there 😂The number 6 bus runs from Correlejo to Rosario and stops at the Riu hotels. Great vlog always x
It’s one of the strangest things we’ve ever seen! All of a sudden there it is. .. what’s the pier we can see at bottom of road by artists house can’t find it on any maps? X
Thanks for this latest vlog guys.Weve walked over those dunes on that beach,as part of a full day trip from Lanzarote in 2022,It was beautiful,I think staying in those hotels would be fine if you only wanted to chill all day long by the pool or on the beach,as there are no nice little shops or bars nearby,so you'd need a car for sure to get about..not for us..
You’re right they are literally in the middle of beaches! So if you don’t move from your hotel for 2 weeks.. great but also not for us like to go for a wander and see where we are actually staying but we all holiday in different styles x
I saw you guys yesterday going to HiperDino in El Campanario and smiled, then I walked around all of El Campanario to find Mark having a beer to give you some advice on all things Corralejo but you were nowhere to be found- Yes the weather is way off piste this weekend! Hi. fuerteventura is the only canary island I go to. the place I stay is BAHIAZUL VILLAS its just up the top of corralejo look it up you will be pleasantly surprised
We stayed in Suite Hotel Atlantis now Aloe Suites. Walked out to the Dunes, went to get a drink at a beach bar further along only to go to the bar, all naturists 😮. The round circular stone circles are where you get an all over tan😁

Unbelievable beach I’d imagine unbearable in real hot sun as no shade but I think there’s always a wind there.. it was good day to walk there yesterday due to the weather and it being cooler than it has…x
Mark went grotty again last night went to bed early with some paracetamol all crooky and bunged up again.. pool day today suns out more than yesterday at this time x
@gypsysoulsjudymark.escapet7388 Hi Judy hope mark has improved x we stayed in sept last year so very hot weather then ..We stayed about 15 mins drive from Corralejo ( Parque Hollandes) quiet area but apt was gorgeous and we brought our car over on ferry from lanzarote..Hope sun is still shining for ye 😀
Looking forward to seeing other parts of island but really like it here now in terms of location not sure at first.. it’s really hot today I’ve had to come in Marks in bed not feeling great today x

It's a shame you've got the wind and the clouds right at the end of your winter adventures, but the Canaries weather has been gorgeous. Fuerte is often windy, but when it's hot you need that breeze! Looking forward to seeing where you get to in the next few days and can't wait to hear your plans for next winter x
Oh, and I forgot to mention, I came home from Fuerteventura with a chesty cough and sinus headache a couple of weeks ago, lots of people seemed to have a bit of lurgy while we were there, and everyone on the flight home was coughing, so I think there's something going around the island x
