My two older sister's both married into African family's, so most of this I love to eat and eat on a regular. My bf is Jamaican so I'm getting into his culture foods and loving it too😋. Then my third older sister bf is some culture of Spanish so I'm just really enjoying trying so many new thing's from all these cultures❤.
I’m Continental african (Liberian) and AA and I’m LOVING this. I love seeing our brothers and sisters of the diaspora reclaim their roots through the food. We’re all africans, we’ve just been separated for a while. Btw the “septic tank” smell is probably palm oil and a lot of palm oil is from fermented palm nuts 😭 I completely understand, it is a strong smell.

Just a little tip for people who want to try it as well... the okra and egusi soup are used INTERCHANGEABLY (both are used as soups for the fufu) the jollof rice is seperate just like you eat fried rice.

If anything African Americans should be used to west African food because a lot of soul food, Spanish food and Caribbean food is based on West African food since the slaves came from there and tried their best with what they had here.

I agree to do what makes you happy. However, woman have to clean up/prepare and all that sometimes before we get down also. For those who don't have period sex, they have to wait 3-7 days sometimes.
