I used a lot of Acros100 both in 135 and 120 back in the early 2000. It is very expensive in the UK, about £12.00 a roll or $15.00 so no Acros. It is reputed to be manufacured in the UK by ilford to Fuji formulation. It is a brilliant film though, and very high quality.
The results you got with Acros II - the rich shadow tones and amazing contrast - are perfectly suited to my gloomy personality. They inspired me to order a few rolls for the Yashica Mat 124G you previously inspired me to buy. I also like your charming Bronx accent, which made "sigma" (in "Super Fine - ∑ Grain Technology") sound like E.
Nice overview and video! The price point of Acros keeps me from shooting it more. Delta 100 is $4 cheaper per roll in the US and has similar performance.
