I love my XE1, shot it everyday for 2 years. First year with a Konica Hexanon 40mmF1.8 and second year with the 18mmf2 in black and white and square crop.
Didint test XE1 but as sensor is the same :) I guess it is amazing camera :) I love how files work and what is possible to do with them , even I heard from my brother as he had X-T2 the feel wasn't as pleasing as it was on X-t1 he liked image from 1 more.
@@Smamaj older gear was the newest gear in its time. I often said how great photography was carried out on the stuff we now think is old. I really enjoy it when someone like you comes out and makes this point.
Hi Sebastian, great video. I just discovered your channel. Keep up the good work. May I ask which camera are you using for video? Are you also using a fujifilm camera for the talking head shots in your video? Thank you Sebastian.
Thank u, for talking head I use Sony a7siii. For my professional work depends of assignment I use Sony a7siii for video sometimes if I have second operator we use also blackmagic 6k. For photography I mainly use Sony a7iii but for my everyday life and some commercial photos I use Fujifilm. But in direction I am going with future project I highly consider to switch to Fuji in terms of photography and keep Sony for video only but we ll see :) if I ll make this decision it ll not be this year but maybe 25. I don’t change systems to often and I try to work as much as possible on what I have.
@@Smamaj thank you Sebastian for the reply. All of the cameras you mentioned are excellent. I wish you all the best with your channel and career. I’m looking forward to your next video. Again, thank you.
thank you :) I ll try add one video per week from this year and start second chanel more about living in the north :) as I believe both are not related to each other and I dont want to make people confused. @@cubax26
Hej, zastanawiam sie nad zakupem na wakacje i na angielskie sciezki, jestem laikiem, bedzie to moj pierwszy aparat. Polecasz, czy moze cos innego na pierwszy raz?😊
You are such a nice guy! And I love the photos you showcased in this video. I am wondering if I should go to the X T-1 or X T-10. I guess I can get 1 extra lens with the extra money hehe
as far i know x-t1 is water resistant if you need that I guess it is better option but if you dont need it I would stick with xt10 :) I did use mine in pretty rough conditions ever is not water resistant and still works.
Oh I think due some pretty slow autofocus and distance to the subject probably I ll not have it as preferred option but I am not expert in this type of photography.
@nevatobe it is 16-55 2.8-4 if I remember correct it is nothing on top of the line in Fuji lenses but also I didn’t want to have sharpest lens out there I have my Sony for this type of assignments :)
Does the X-T10 have manual control of the video settings or the ISO is auto as some old fuji cameras? I have the X-E1, really amazing for shots, it produces really gorgeous images, but the ISO in video settings is AUTO and unfortunately you can't control it. I'm thinking of buying the X-T10 to see how this magic sensor performs with video. Great channel, Sebastian. Just keep doing this good work.
thank you! I just checked I can control iso and exposure manually no problem. I am not sure if there is log profile but :) as it is not priority for me it is ok without log.

Great review. I currently shoot Mirrorless Nikons, but i really wanna dabble with Fuji. I really want a body for under $500 to pair with their 27. Pancakes lens.
Been using X-T10 since 2016 and pretty happy with it. I have 35mm f2 to use when cycling, but mostly I use the kit 18-55mm f2.8-4 for travel and everyday usage. The AF performance is a bit lacking, though, very noticeable when I shoot others while cycling. I always use Classic Chrome, very beautiful colors.
Sensor in x-t1 and this is the same. I add some grain also to it then could be it. I don’t like clean look is not my style of work then :) I make it bit dirty. Probably best to check reviews where people show clean images as I don’t do that and my reviews are more based on usability not on technical aspects coz I believe every camera right now produces amazing photos it up from us what we do with them later.
well not sure what you mean with this comment. I didnt mention any of this cameras ;-) and I think vintage and vintage look are bit different terms. In this I mean vintage by age of camera itself , when it was produced.
@@Smamaj You are right. I wanted to say that, for me, a true vintage has to be rangefinders. But any camera that has the same design as old cameras can be considered vintage. Except the X-S10, X-H2 and X-H2s. These look like DSLRs. If you compare all vintage cameras, the Nikon Zf is the best value for money. Because it has a fullframe sensor and costs the same price as a Fujifilm that has an APSC sensor. Now, if Fujifilm releases an updated replacement for the X100V or the X-Pro 3, I would prefer it because I think the Rangefinder camera is beautiful. I think the Fujifilm X100V Silver is the most beautiful camera. However, it needs IBIS and an interchangeable lens like the X-Pro.
@@michelecintramika8482 ahh yes :) in that case it is style choice but in my case I meant :) the age. Like Nikon d100 even it has normal design is still vintage already with 6mpx sensor etc.
